  • How familiar are you with witchcraft?
It was a topic of interest to the women in my family when I was growing up. Family members or friends of the family worked at pagan type supply stores and went to pagan festivals for holidays. At an early age I knew more about numerology, astrology, letters, numbers and how to use herbs for healing.I began to read more and more so that I would better understand what it was really about.
  • Have you explored other paths?
I grew up with Wiccans and Christian influences. I never really agreed with either. I looked into wicca but found Satanism more interesting since it was more about the Self. I appreciated the concept but not entirely.
  • Have you ever worked with Traditional Witchcraft?
I am learning still about my potential in the craft. What I can do and the power I have to do it. So far my work has been little. Mainly visualizing practice and a daily ritual of meditation.
  • What does Traditional Witchcraft mean to you?
It means following what is natural, what is yourself;using the natural power you possess and sharpening it. Creating, appreciating life and being part of it. Traditional Witchcraft not a religion but an art form that is as individual as the practitioner and their spells. For some it is passed on generations and others it is learned, the knowledge and ritual practice may be different from one person to the next.
  • How long have you worked with witchcraft in general?
I have working with witchcraft ... I would say close to 10 years. Though I was aware of it in my youth, I never really understood it completely. So, it hasn't been until recent that I have connected with it more.
  • What brought you to our site?
I have been looking for a group to learn more as I read on about Traditional Witchcraft.
  • What do you expect to get from this site, and what do you expect to contribute to this forum?
I expect to learn about Witchcraft, history, current place and to better my personal practice. I am interested in sharing my understandings, experiences and to enjoy partaking in discussions.
  • Do you belong to any other online witchcraft sites?
    I recently joined, TraditionalWitchcraft.net
  • What are your strongest points in witchcraft?
Dream interpretation, reading tarot and a well developed psychic ability, visualizing and meditation as preparation for spellcasting.
  • What are your weakest points in witchcraft?
Perhaps, focus? I think I need more focus.
  1. I like using knives, herbs, incense, oils and anything that I feel possesses the energy I need depending on the intention it will be used. Tarot or my own dreams aide in divination tools. I have little objects or trinkets that I feel hold energy in various places around my home. Visualization and meditation I suppose could also be considered tools. I think my supply list is unlimited including the most important of all tools, my mind, intention and will to do.
  2. Thank you all! It is a special painting for me. The process up to completion really helped me to transform and change the I think and feel. I have been interested in choosing brighter, vibrant colors in my other works lately...:atoast:
  3. It is mixed media. I used earth, dried flowers, watercolors and pencil.
  4. Good questions. The topic of death is so heavy. I read about it pertaining to cultures, beliefs and reflected on my own culture and beliefs. In contemplation to alleviate the shock and disappointment of my friend dying I wanted to learn about death. I learned that life goes on and nothing every really dies, we just see things differently when someone is no longer physically a part of our lives. So the transformation for one person becomes a part of many.
  5. Recipe for 2 Servings Four simple ingredients: 4 Potatoes 3 Tbsp. Soy Chorizo 2 Tbsp. Organic Hummus 1 Green Onions Four medium sized red potatoes boiled and set to cool then add your other ingredients along with some salt and pepper to taste. Great for BBQs and picnics!
  6. A friend of mine passed away three years ago. It was therapeutic to contemplate death and transformation.
