How familiar are you with witchcraft?
I have been eagerly following and studying a largely solitary path. I do work with a group of like minded women several times a year and have an interest in shamanic practice.
Have you explored other paths?
Christianity as a teen, then a long period of avowed atheism. I ultimately identify more as pagan now than anything else.
Have you ever worked with Traditional Witchcraft?
Yes but only for myself and family / friends. Mainly kitchen and candle magic, incense and poppet magic. I love tarot and shamanic practice. I'm a shore witch.
What does Traditional Witchcraft mean to you?
Freedom to explore the paths that speak to me without dogmatism. I am not a wiccan and prefer my magic to be simple, nature and intention based and without unnecessary ceremony.
How long have you worked with witchcraft in general?
Only a year but I feel like I've come home to myself.
What brought you to our site?
A google search many months ago but the site stood out to me and I feel ready to join.
What do you expect to get from this site, and what do you expect to contribute to this forum?
Guidance from experienced witches. I expect to support and share with other novices on this path and guide others as I grow in my own practice.
Do you belong to any other online witchcraft sites?
No - I liked this one. I am on a Tarot forum site.
What are your strongest points in witchcraft?
My curiosity, quickness to learn, open mindedness. I have excellent visualisation skills and shamanic practice is especially useful for me.
What are your weakest points in witchcraft?
I have skipped past some of the basics and need to go back and work on things like shielding. I'm sometimes better at thinking through how to do things, rather than making time for the practice. I also want to increase my capacity for meditative practice.
