  • Interests
Poetry, reading, gardening, history, celtic lore, mythology, drawing and painting
  • How familiar are you with witchcraft?
Somewhat. I read a lot but have limited my reading to herbal magic, Druid magic and psychic protection. I have tools, a pendulum, many crystals and stones, candles and I like to meditate.
  • Have you explored other paths?
    Yes. Druids path.
  • Have you ever worked with Traditional Witchcraft?
Some yes, though I think actual practice is only 25% there, have always been interested in magick for non religious reasons. Now working mostly with Tarot and meditation/visualization of my intents and desires.
  • What does Traditional Witchcraft mean to you?
It is a way to focus on magick practical and spiritual with or without religious trappings as my desire/intentions draw me and connect me to the Source/Universe so promote well being in a folk blend of past and present. It's not new, therefore it has deeper meaning for me personally than Wicca, tried it didn't like the love and light restrictions.
  • How long have you worked with witchcraft in general?
A few years, probably since I stopped walking the Druid path in 2005. (fascinated since a teen but always liked magic)
  • What brought you to our site?
A desire to connect with like minded people and learn all I can learn, as books alone do not suffice.
  • What do you expect to get from this site, and what do you expect to contribute to this forum?
I'd like to expand on the Cottage/Hearth path I've basically been drawn to. I work with the Fae, Brighid and Angels, believe it or not. Have recently added Loki to my workings and focus so want to learn more of the Norse pantheon. I hope to add to discussions here and grow the confidence in my path etc.. it has been hard to practice in a xtian household...
  • Do you belong to any other online witchcraft sites?
  • What are your strongest points in witchcraft?
Meditation and visualization, empathy/intuition, written spells as I am a poet, strong connections to elements like stones or plants and animals
  • What are your weakest points in witchcraft?
    Invocation and ritual.
  • Additional Information.
want to learn to do automatic writing and more about animism.

  1. "I have recently become acquainted with a Theistic Satanist and my impression is of sincerity, no nonsense, serious minded, but able to have fun same as anybody else. Of course, he keeps his religion if any, a private matter, and I don't pry. I asked for help and he was the only person on the planet that has been able to help me in any spiritual sense and to make good positive changes in my life without asking me to change my beliefs, per se. I feel he has the good of the earth and people at heart especially children and hates tyrants of any kind. He seeks balance, as do most reasonable people. His ability to work with infernal deity is an talent I do not possess and perhaps never shall. So my view of the good or bad of this person isn't limited to xtian ideas I grew up with. I have doubts at times but then I read his blog and it all seems silly to be afraid of or hateful towards his belief system. It has helped me and I hope that I will feel like a winner just by association, so to speak. Well, that is another matter ! lol (long story)" I re post my comment here to make a point. Yesterday I wrote about a friend I made who seems to have drawn out some negative commentary on the quality of said friendship and or his website. I post in my blog the above comment only to add my PERSPECTIVE on that wee bit of unnecessary drama which I didn't start. (nope did not means someone else did and my response was not drama, though natural considering the last answers I got) 1. I am not a slave to any person, place, or thing on earth or the Universe. 2. I do become over involved at times when I have enough free time. This does not equate with slavery or servitude. (see above #1) 3. Training of any kind requires practice which I will pursue at my discretion, not other peoples. Yes, training involves practice which inherently is repetitive. (again see #1)) 4. My choice of friends should not be questioned by other members here. Your paranoia is your own so keep it to yourself. I don't want to own it. :yuck: 5. I will follow any path if it helps me become who I wish to be. I have an inquiring mind and will study as my heart leads me. I am a free spirit not bound by the boundaries of others perspectives or beliefs etc.. ad nauseum. OK. I think that about covers most of what I had to finish saying about the original question I posted. I don't require comments here but if you wish to PM me fine but again, don't step on my toes doing so or it will get you into hot water with me and that isn't going to be pretty. Hearsay and gossip will be considered with the same negative response possible with stepping on my toes. Thanks for understanding. :blobfire: :flyaway: :goodluck: :chomp: :chillpill:

      Use an Ouija board ;)

I think it would depend on what or who you want to summon.

    4. Radha

    2. Radha

Yeah I thought of that too. I can't even say it right even though it looks cool I'd never remember it. Another useless idea! LMAO :D Thx.

    2. Mountain Witch

      Mountain Witch

Or, if you don't have elderberry syrup, there's a commercial product called "Sambucol". Works great. It's in the cough/cold aisle.

    3. Radha

Thanks for the ideas, I'm using lemon juice, honey, peppermints in a tea, and then there is the thyme tea I have yet to try that says it can expectorate and calm both, but the taste isn't my fav when finicky taste buds don't like anything decent at this moment. All I wish for is some sleep and pain relief. Nothing really helps at this point, just have to tough it out. Thanks again for the suggestions.

  13. Should I try to make a poem out of this short story I wrote in my blog? :)

    1. Davenport

I read it. To me it already reads like a poem. Also I do not understand why Hecate would be hanging out with the Arch Angel Gabriel. I dont know anything about Gabriel and I am no scholar on the dealings of Hecate but did I miss something?

    2. Radha

Ah, no they won't be hanging out together but I have remnants of angel lore stuck in my head, and believing in both angels and other Beings isn't beyond me. I know they may be considered opposing paths or religions but I'm a Druidic/Witch eclectic. I don't believe in separation of deity according to religion since I have none. I follow my own experiences. Gabriel actually is associated with Hecate according to a book I'm reading called Rite of the Moon. So yes, I guess you...

  14. Dread Naught For Her names are many and her enemies few. Fear not the wakened hour whence she comes to prepare the Cloak of Ancestors on a journey to Earth under diamond sighs and cloven hoof. She rides the embrace of night and lingers beside suns glare like a lemon drop of despair. A ring upon the finger of the galaxy we share as your ancestor sat to sup and dine awhile where the Hallows Eve place was set. Our Minds are Hers and liken to the coming of ages of awareness. Dawns nemesis and Saturn's heartache is Hecate. Dread Naught the change of flesh to Spirit of Air. Gabriel is Her angel and mine...
