  1. AGAIN???? LOL seems we have the same taste in music!
  2. I like other's have stated prefer the sounds of nature while doing workings, music just distracts me which is great when I want to be distracted, but magical workings is NOT that time! The wind in the trees and the crackle of a fire puts me in the right state of mind. The ocean is a wonderful sound, but sadly I don't live there anymore :(
  3. Good Points 8!! Where a spell is usually something that is done and it's over, enchantments need to be fed!!
  4. I have been doing this for as long as I can remember, although back in the day I didn't have a word for it. But it is something I had the ability to do long before I knew how to put together a "proper" or "formal" spell" Of course when I was young, and didn't quite understand what it was I was doing, they were much less sophisticated then they are now. I have not used this skill in the way that Michele mentioned LOL, nor have I used it for physical healing, but have for emotional healing or to gain someones trust. Empathic abilities I find very useful with this kind of magic also as it is certainly a form of mental manipulation. I do agree with Jevne that this is NOT something to play with though especially if you are unsure as to how "enchanting" you can actually be! It could have some very unfavorable outcomes!
  5. I have heard of people that have some electro magnetic something or other that effects watches and clocks. I have been wearing the same spectacular watch for 6 years that my husband bought me for my 40th birthday, it never comes off my wrist! This phenomenon has NOTHING to do with witchcraft what so ever!! Neither does me wearing or not wearing a watch for that matter :)
  6. How cute are these!!!! http://img1.etsystatic.com/il_fullxfull.273643365.jpg
  7. My Dad had his SSN removed about 10 years ago, very expensive!! It's good that you have to wait a month, it gives you time to contemplate!! Of course do what makes you happy, it's your body, just make certain you are doing it for you and not to stick it to someone else! Just a thought.....
  8. I buy what I want when I want it! What the hell is wrong with that?? I'm not a nun! I took no oath to live in poverty!! I worked long and hard to be where I am!! My dear husband is still working his ass off for his family!! We don't use credit cards, we live within our means! There is no shame in having what you want!! I can still have my cake and care for the earth, which we all do in my family! We are also charitable, we give our time to those in need ( family, close friends, causes that we belive in) in my opinion there is no shame in liveing an authentic life! It doesn't make me the devil, hell, I don't even believe in the devil!!!
  9. Finding this here has freaked me out a bit..........oddly, for the past of 7 nights, 5 of those I woke up with this song in my head..........Disturbing really, I wish I knew dream interpretation.............
  10. Did you know that you had Mother Nature by the balls?? I certainly didn't!!
  11. Pretty silly really! :) Shaman95% Precog85% Healer85% Judge80% Artist80% Fallen Angel60% Universal55% Traveler55% You Scored as ShamanYou are a Shamanic Empath. You are at one with nature and can speak with animal/plant life. Your powers come from the Sun & the Moon, and the elements. The weather moves with your mind and all of nature is at your beck and call.
  12. The Akashic Records are exactly what came to my mind as well while reading M's post!! Wonderful post M, if there ever was a mind I would love to climb into it would be yours!!
  13. I am missing one of my decks, can any of you find them for me? :(
  14. This is a very thought provoking post Maggie!!! It is the weekend and my house if full, but I am printing it out to ponder!
  15. yeah, it's pretty much torture and very inhumane!!!
  16. Sponge Bob Square Pants......................I'm certain you don't want the video or audio for this evil torture!!
  17. Oh and the number one thing is to NEVER doubt your own intuition no matter what some self proclaimed knower of all things occult tries to tell you! Works great in the mundane world as well!!!!
  18. WOW, huge question, the first would be.... Don't believe everything you read! Not everyone in a forum knows what they are talking about. Follow your gut, intuition first and foremost. Know yourself. When you ask a question in a forum, take all with a grain of salt. That goes for books as well. Both are misleading, your inner truth will come to you only when you let it come. Knowledge is only given to those that are ready to accept it!
  19. PS, that would be Altar, not alter! A typo I fear I do often :)
  20. I use my mind, my candles, herbs, fire, sticks, rocks, water, the wind and dirt. Occasionally tarot cards or runes I have a wand, a walking stick made by my husband but they sit on my alter mostly as decorative items. My calderons and fire pit get lots of wear but that about does it for me when it comes to casting and the use of tools. Never owned an anthem, never felt the use for them. Any blades, knives that I use I also use in my kitchen, as there is lots of magical workings that are done in there.
  21. I agree!! As a collecter I truely love them all!!
  22. If I want to look witchy I do. If I don't want to look witchy I don't. It's all about what I feel like on a certain day or situation, I'm a master at changing my appearance. I have a birthmark on my ass, but not many people have ever seen that!! My eyes are intense, a physic once told me she knew I had the "power" the minute she looked into my eyes. Had a doctor jump back and almost fall when he first looked into my eyes with his light -(not quite sure what that was about) As for the average person on the street, that intensity just says BITCH! So, I suppose it's all relative.
