I came from a christian background by the age of 13 started to question why i didnt feel like i belong with the rest of them. So i moved away from it but wanted to experience true study with nature as a guide. Most people these days like being book taught because they have nothing else to base their decision to change religions. What they dont understand, and most wiccans is that silver raven wolf isnt going to be there to hold your hand and by talking to someone you think your learning from they could be doing more harm then good, so instead of following, why not try leading yourself.
What does Traditional Witchcraft mean to you?
When i was younger i never knew the term witch itself. I just felt the need to do certian things like dancing in nature, being attracted to learning about animals, felt that being here on this land meant i needed to take care of it and there is much more to life than just going about your day not being connected to it. I think thats were many people have gone wrong, thinking its silly to be able to connect nature or be one with animals and your surrounding. Oh yeh and im getting tired of fluffy wiccans telling me that wiccan is another name for witchcraft and thats what everyone needs to be called. Sometimes it makes me wanna choke who ever is teaching people these so called things, did i mention i laugh everytime someone tells me that they are a 10th generation wiccan oye!
What do you expect to get from this site, and what do you expect to contribute to this forum?
People who dont hide behind labels and strict code of rules. I myself have tried to be good, only do good things but i find that supressing a dark side, not always bad, can lead you into bad feelings. I enjoy the dark aspect of witchcraft, not just always being nice and good to your fellow man. Same with some of my family, i adopt my omas (german for grandmother) bloodline, she is from just outside of transylvania romania, bred gypsies and most of my learning comes from her stories.
