  • How familiar are you with witchcraft?
Very. I've been practicing for 15 years now.
  • Have you explored other paths?
I've gently wandered off into other paths, but my family's tradition of Witchcraft is strong in my blood.
  • Have you ever worked with Traditional Witchcraft?
Only in the way my family uses magic.
  • What does Traditional Witchcraft mean to you?
It's base is in ways much older than the neo-Pagan movement. Indulgence in our animalistic ways is not considered "sinful," and should be a part of spirituality. In the same way, I know of no Rede like the Wiccans do, and no law of 3.
  • How long have you worked with witchcraft in general?
    15 years.
  • What brought you to our site?
I desperate longing for someone besides the fluffies to talk to.
  • What do you expect to get from this site, and what do you expect to contribute to this forum?
    As above.
  • Do you belong to any other online witchcraft sites?
    spiritualnexus.org, but it's not witchcraft-specific.
  • What are your strongest points in witchcraft?
    I never disclose that.
  • What are your weakest points in witchcraft?
    Never. To anyone.
  1. Hmm, I didn't think of that! Thanks, I'll try looking! Otherwise I'll just have to go with what the others said: I'll have to meditate with my white pup and find out what he has to teach me. Thanks for all your help, everybody!
  2. I did input the search key word "familiar," but haven't seen anything I thought would lead me to where I need to go. Still looking, though...
  3. There used to be this great website that had a list of animals and what they represented as a witch's familiar. This website has been taken down, however, and I'm looking for information on animal familiars in general. Narrowing it down more, I'm looking for information on dog familiars. White dogs, more specifically. Does anyone have any good resource links on this? Any help is appreciated. :bunny3:
  4. I have a Lunette to collect my menstrual blood. If you're not squeamish, a very eco-friendly and cost-effective way to manage your period, not to mention that the blood comes out of it flowing instead of absorbed and needing to be soaked out. And I see someone just mentioned that. My bad for not reading every reply before speaking. :)
  5. Hey, Heks. I couldn't resist posting in a tattoo thread. I just got my 12th and 13th tattoos at the same time a couple weeks ago. They're still healing, but they are turning out beautifully. I'll put some pictures at the bottom of the post. I have my spirit animal (fox) tattooed on my ankle, a green-skinned fairy tattooed on the other, various pentacles and septagrams marking me as a believer in fey kind, three butterflies (I see them in visions a lot), and the two new ones: ivy leaves, one on each arm with runes inside. The one on my right arm is a green leaf, upright, with the rune for creativity/creation in the center. The one on my left is an orange leaf, upside-down, with the rune for destruction/protection in the center. I put thoughts of intent into these tattoos as they were being forged, and so far they seem to be manifesting the same forces that the runes represent. I saw someone else post about this, so I thought I'd mention it. Anyway, the thing about getting any tattoo is that it hurts, and it takes weeks to heal. More than what you choose for a design, you should ask yourself if you have time and patience to take care of them. They effectively remain an open wound for up to three weeks. You can't sleep on them or get them dirty, and you have to keep them moist with A&D ointment and/or lotion (as peer your artist's directions) for that whole time to avoid losing color and quality. The choice is up to you, but I thought I'd give you some insight on what you might be in for in the aftercare department. Obviously it's not that much of a hassle since I have 13 of them (and 30 piercings for that matter), but it is still something to think about. -Kaya
