  1. ime it doesn't matter what is used to open the door. An open door is an open door...the important thing is to have a bouncer stationed there!
  2. :lolol: Bloody Hell...now I have to clean my keyboard up, and get some more tea!!!
  3. To me, no longer having posting allowed is 'folding' - guess it's just semantics. I am aware of how the site operated in other ways, ie. paid vs non-paid, etc. It was more than awhile back I was there, but that mod had been there for ages...glad she lost her little empire. There were some very good posters there.
  4. Accidentally eh! :D I am solitary, no one knows except for my wife, and those that might recognize something, but they'd be a witch. It's going to remain that way...I live in the Bible belt.
  5. I checked the 2nd link you provided, but it does not allow one to look at any section of the forum unless you register first. How does one know if they want to join if they can't see what they are getting into, or is another little empire starting to build? I think I'll stay away as I found many ATF members to way over analyze the minutia of every card resulting in a conglomeration of out of whack meanings for a card, and calling it intuition, when what really resulted was a bunch of gobbledygook.
  6. I did not find that possible. She way over focused on any post I made, no matter where I made it, and deleted innocuous posts. I did not find the forum, for it's size, to have that many mods...just PITA ones. I found a number of other men on-line that had similar problems. One contacted the owner, but nothing was done. It seems that ATF was made by a woman for women, and that men were not welcome on the whole unless you wanted to be subservient and willing to take a beating. As far as I know all the mods were women, and if there were male mods, they did not last long there. Like I said, I for one am glad it folded, the chauvinist Nazi-feminists mods no longer have their little empire. Perhaps you will find this interesting - http://www.glennfwright.com/Tarot/cartofem.html
  7. Not sorry to hear it. The Nazi-sexist moderator was the reason I stopped posting, she would allow a post from a female that was sexist towards males, but when I brought attention to it, she slapped my hand and deleted my post. And if anything sexist was said against a female it got deleted...not that I did that, but I saw it. Then she started deleting my posts saying I said this or that, but I didn't say it...it was another poster. SO...glad it is closed! Heh, second forum to close that gave me unjust troubles :wickedwitch:
  8. Ugh, I moaned, I kissed...I mean I REALLY kissed that pillow, I even f......umm, never mind that one, and nada, nothing in the morning, so being totally ticked, I tried the Spell of Vicious Revenge against my lousy neighbour. That one bombed too and so NOW I have a chick to look after...and I'm NOT talking about the kind I was trying to get with the Pillow Spell!!!
  9. ...not really witchy in the ways mentioned above, but it works great for me....when I first start feeling symptoms I take 5 Cold FX, and then 5 at bed time if the first symptoms occurred in the day. First symptoms for me are extreme tiredness. I also take 5 as a preventative if going out in large groups of people in flu/cold season.
  10. Oh yeah, I didn't mention that I used feces - once, ONLY ONCE, and no not mine or another's. It is a gross medium to work with. A jerk was letting their dog do it's business on my property, and I couldn't time it to catch them in the act so I could make them pick it up, so I used the dog's feces as a link to the owner. It worked.
  11. Thanks Sol! For the board, I used an image transfer method. The letters were really difficult to line up because I had to do first one half left to right and then the other half. I then coated the board with an acrylic spray so the ink would not wear away or bleed if it ever got wet. The board measures 19 x14.5 inches (used a maple tv tray I bought at Walmart. It needed sanding to make it really smooth).
  12. Sure Sol, I use it for reflective magic, and in place of using mirrors in protective mirror box magic. For a mirror box, I put two pieces of foil flush with each other with the shiny side in, put the poppet, taglocks, photo, etc. inside, tape it up and viola mirror box. At other times I line a cardboard box with it to create more of a sturdy box.
  13. Candles, blood, urine, hair, finger nails, bones, a few herbs, spices, resins, iron, camphor, sulphur, egg shell, tin foil, mirror, paper, pen, alcohol (no I'm not drinking it, lol), saliva, water, sand, rocks, feathers, spike of wood for carving into candles, nails, rope, string, oils, tinctures, lightning struck wood, photos, Tarot Cards, bottles, jars, bowls, boxes, hurricane jar, candle holders, tape, mortar and pestle, thorns, ammonia, vinegar, sugar, some fruits (not for eating), special area with storage and tables to do my workings, hand gestures, oil burner, and my intent. I think that about covers it.
  14. Thank you all very much! I worked long and hard on these projects. The Spirit board is infused with special resins for protection against malicious spirits and together with the runes (on the face, underside, and planchette) provides good protection. Thing is though, I haven't even used it yet. @ Oroboros - No need to apologize. The Druidcraft Tarot has about an equal distribution of male to female. I just could not reconcile the middle aged, out of shape woman in the Chariot card actually being able to control two in hand, a staff in the other, on a speeding chariot. The expression on her face was like she was out for a Sunday stroll in the park. That image just didn't do it for me, so I made her into a virile man which would be in line with history where the chariots were driven by men into battle. It took a bit of thinking to hide the figure's breasts, get rid of the skirt and give him pants. His head was a bit difficult in that I didn't want it to appear like I just took a head off of one of the other men in the deck and plopped it onto the figure in the Chariot, so I had to change the shape of the eyebrows and change the colour of the beard and eyebrows. I'm pleased with the way it turned out.
  15. I made a Spirit board out of solid maple. Also digitally modified the Druid Tarot Deck to my liking. I did each card to intensify the colours and to make the hands and feet on many cards in proportion to the body (they were way too large). Here is my version followed by the original. Re: the Chariot...the middle aged woman I just didn't think would be able to handle two in hand on a speeding chariot, and it didn't fit history, so I made her a man. Please don't take it in a sexist way. I also reduced the card size when printing them, trimmed them by hand and rounded the corners. Also laminated them. Back of the cards
  16. I sell my bad ones to the local wiccans :naughty:
  17. There are times when I do a lot of workings because of 'need = something needs to be changed, looked after, etc.' at the time. But I can also go for longer periods of time where I do no spells due to the 'need' not being there. I get behind in reading and researching, esp. when having to do a lot of workings and/or general life stuff.. Also, some spells, such as protection, are cyclical and only done once every so often to renew them, but as with others, I do daily mini-workings because the opportunity is there ie. food, drink, etc. Some other workings would be done on the fly because of an 'immediate' need existing - in which case the only tools I have are my mind and body. I agree, that an academia Witch really needs to put that knowledge to the test and use it...sometimes experience is the best teacher. One can read about how to swim, but to be a swimmer, one has to get into the water and actually swim (just don't try deep water until very experienced).
  18. .... Yes, I agree odalibuc, and thanks!
  19. .... Thanks Oroboros. As you mentioned, meditating on each card and what the symbolism means to you is an excellent way to get deeper into the meaning of each card and applying them to your readings.
  20. Geez, didn't I say that in my posts above, ie. look at the IMAGERY of each card and what is says to YOU in each reading using your intuition, but also taking the trad meaning into account if it fits (but I added that the meaning can differ dependent on the question and card interactions)?! :stars:
  21. ....... Well there you have it...the imagery of the oroboros says it all. Now you just have to figure out what the message is for you.
  22. ........ For me, intuition holds much more weight for a card meaning than the rote trad meaning (although I take that into account, but only in accord what the card imagery shows, which may differ from the trad RW meaning). I don't go by most book meanings (the book that comes with the deck) of each card. The imagery or part of it helps to spark my intuition, and what it tells me tends to be different for every reading.
  23. Don't know which one it might be, but take a looky here (first time I ever looked this up...I swear. I guess, just look for the cheezyest one, LOL. https://www.google.ca/search?q=sex+oil&oq=sex+oil&aqs=chrome..69i57.2640j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#q=sex+oil+potion&tbm=vid
