Spells to control another

I'm wondering what the concensus is on working spells to control another's actions. If I am in a long term relationship with a man who tells me he loves me and does many things that prove it, is it wrong to try to nudge the situation along with magick and spells? On one hand I think that if it was me having someone doing witchcraft to take away my free will, I wouldn't like it much. And then I think, well--if the witchcraft was for my good it would be ok. I'm 57 years old and can't wait forever. I welcome all thoughts on this.

Well if he loves you and shows proof of this why would you want to nudge anything along? What are you trying to help? I wouldn't say it was wrong but I can't say I'm seeing a need for it if everything is fine as it is?

I agree with Honeythorn. What is there to nudge along? If you want more out of the relationship than he seems willing to give, I suggest an ancient spell passed down through the generations, but rarely used . . . TALK TO HIM.

If he loves you, as you claim, you should be able to ask him about his long range plans. I wouldn't cast any love related spells on anyone, especially not someone I claim to care about, without giving them a chance to tell their side. Of course, you may not like what you hear, but at least you would kwow where you stand.

The nudging comes because I rarely see him. He's an over the road trucker and is rarely around. I'm just not used to a "long distance relationship".
