  • How familiar are you with witchcraft?
Pretty familiar. I’ve been reading anything and everything I can get my hands on since I was about 12.
  • Have you explored other paths?
I looked into Wicca but all the covens I found were very forced feeling and full of rules.
  • Have you ever worked with Traditional Witchcraft?
Yes, I have. Although not as often as I’d like to.
  • What does Traditional Witchcraft mean to you?
To me it means working with nature and connecting with our ancestors. It’s the willingness to learn from multiple cultures and paths and carve your own way to it.
  • How long have you worked with witchcraft in general?
    About 8 years.
  • What brought you to our site?
I was looking into Germanic witchcraft, your site popped up. And then I spent a bunch of time looking at everything!
  • What do you expect to get from this site, and what do you expect to contribute to this forum?
I am looking forward to learning all that I can. And discussing witchcraft of all varieties with likeminded individuals who aren’t Wiccan! I’d love to contribute the knowledge I’ve compiled, as well as just connecting with others.
  • Do you belong to any other online witchcraft sites?
I don’t, no. I’ve been pretty solitary in finding my path.
  • What are your strongest points in witchcraft?
    Crystals and runes, research, ogam
  • What are your weakest points in witchcraft?
Tarot, herbs (I’m trying to learn, but I can’t keep a cactus alive to save my own life), rituals

  1. Thank you so much for this thread! I found it super informative and interesting! I'm always looking to learn more about different spiritualities, so I can ensure that I'm respectful of any and all of them!
  2. Thanks so much for sharing this! I'm super interested in shamanic and folk beliefs in that area as I'm half Armenian, and the village my family was from is now considered part of Turkey! Lots to consider and look into after reading this!
  3. I can't wait to see the photos of the new stuff you post! I think I'm going to play with some clay again soon! I love making little witch hats and painting them! So much fun! - That and my kitties broke the last two I made and I need new ones! lol
  4. Hey Merianna! I also write fiction! And have published quite a few books! (under a pen name), congrats on writing 50 chapters! Don't ever give up on your publishing dream!
  5. Your artwork is stunning! I love the deck you did! And those celestial moons and the landscapes! I'm in awe of your talent!
  6. This is awesome! Was a final picture of the mask posted and I missed it? I would love to see how it turned out!
  7. Lovely work! I've been looking at wands lately, but finding it hard to find one that calls out to me. I'm thinking this will be one item, if I do feel the need for one, that I end up making myself. I'd love to know how you got started with carving... I once tried to do some carving on wooden blocks, just to practice, and sliced my finger pretty bad... so after that I gave up LOL
  8. I recently got the White Light Oracle from a subscription box that I really love! I connected instantly with it, and I hadn't used oracle cards before. I've got quite a few sets of Tarot cards, but for some reason, tarot doesn't resonate with me as much as Runes and Ogham fews do. I've got some Rune cards, which I love! And quite a few sets of runes as well. I also just got my first set of Ogham fews, as well as a sort of deck with the fews on it, and I'm slowly exploring these! I've considered trying to make my own Tarot deck, but honestly, I have no idea where to start. There are so many different cards (sheer number wise) and it's a bit daunting to me.
  9. I work with runes, and just got my first set of Ogham fews, and I've found that I've picked up different bits and pieces from all the books I've read, but no ritual that I've seen/read has ever been followed to the letter. In my personal experience, working with runes is a long process, and one that continues to evolve as you learn to recognize the runes and their meaning, try new spreads (if you do spreads), new casting methods, and as you form a connection/bond with your rune set(s). Also, making your own set is incredibly powerful, and highly recommended. One thing I will say is, remember that you can bless or clear any set, even if it's just your first set, and didn't cost you a ton of money. I started off with a set from a book. Now, I've got about 10-15 different sets, in different mediums, and each one feels differently to me and I use them for different things. I will say, a couple of my sets are for me only, and I never do any pulls for anyone friend or otherwise, with them.
  10. Thanks! I had fun making them! I was newer to watercolor painting when I did those, but I still like them!
