  • How familiar are you with witchcraft?
The more I read about it, the more I realize how little I know
  • Have you explored other paths?
After becoming an ex-Christian, I Dedicated a great deal of time and effort, for several years, researching/learning a great deal about several other religions, spiritual practices and beliefs. Tried a few for awhile but they just weren't what I needed/wanted. Some of them have some excellent teachings, that if everyone would actually do, the world would be a better place. But they just weren't for me. Most lacked when it came to changing anything, making anything happen, making any real and tangible difference.
  • Have you ever worked with Traditional Witchcraft?
  • What does Traditional Witchcraft mean to you?
Self knowledge. Self mastery. Self control. Wisdom. Common Sense. Being able to clearly define intentions, creatively visualize the desired outcome, access and direct power safely and correctly to achieve the outcome.
  • How long have you worked with witchcraft in general?
I had some experiences as a young person and then again in my 30's and 40's that I had no idea was witchcraft. I didn't know what witchcraft was and was conditioned with fear to not even think about it or try to find out anything about it. So I didn't. Until about 2 years ago. Tried Wicca but was turned off by the: Oh everything is nice and sweet and safe and positive and love and good and if you try to stand up for yourself or think a bad thought it will all come back to you and harm you three times worse....Yuk
  • What brought you to our site?
Most other sites I have visited appear to be mostly a commercial venture. They all wanted to sell me books, tapes, cd's, classes, readings, spells, energy infusions/initiations etc. They also try to mix to many things together; Reiki, Message, Essential Oils, Yoga, Wicca, Satanism, Meditation, Shamanism, Witchcraft, Natural Medicine, Kabbalah and more. As if it is all just the same thing and interchangable. It is annoying, distracting and wasted my time and energy just having to put up with it. I haven't seen this on this site.
  • What do you expect to get from this site, and what do you expect to contribute to this forum?
A better understanding of the dangers and how to avoid them. How to manifest what I need to change without accidentally harming myself or others. To learn from others how to harness power/energy and direct it where it needs to go. At this point I don't know if I have anything to contribute. I know/understand less then others here.
  • Do you belong to any other online witchcraft sites?
No. Unless you consider Rose Croix/Rosicrucian (the ancient one, not the Christianized version invented in the early 1700's) to be witchcraft.
  • What are your strongest points in witchcraft?
I can focus/concentrate deeply without rituals or much effort. I am getting OK at strong, realistic visualization. Still practicing.
  • What are your weakest points in witchcraft?
Understanding power/energy, how to access it and direct it to where needed. Understanding the different kinds of entities/powers and how to successfully protect myself.

  1. @StanLily "Maybe that's what we're supposed to do." Sure seems to be true.... looking back at most peoples lives (including my own), there are, for lack of a better word, Phases of darkness then light then dark etc. That often seem to have little relationship to what we want or do. They just happen. Yes we can, and should and many people do everything they can, due diligence, wise choices etc. to prevent and mitigate the dark phases. But, it appears that for most, if not all people, some dark happens anyway. And, the light phases back in; happens anyway. It is hard to write this without it sounding negative or pessimistic. But I am not and don't mean for this description to be. It is just an observation of the dark and light cycles (phases) that seem to be .

This next one is Not a humorous joke, just a joke intermission to put in an opinion LOL
  3. Thinking back (see comment below) that might have been what happened to me, when I had something latch on to me, as you said "a life long friend". Only mine is as far away from being a "friend" as possible. All hell broke loose in my health and life right around that time. And it never stopped. Me too, the one time I used one and the one séance I was at (we were age 9 to 12 and had zero understanding of what we were getting involved with), both just didn't feel right to me, and most of the other attendees...so never did it again.
  4. LOL "Onyx was not amused when I ripped out his pubic hair! " Better watch over your shoulder for awhile !!!!!
  5. Ha Ha really cute. It is hard to tell are the fang teeth just carved squash flesh or did you poke something up there? The photograph makes them look very real like real teeth!!!
  6. They are great.... I especially like the one on the right. The two different eyes and the jagged edge on the lid!!
  7. Did I miss something? A pumpkin doesn't display on my PC!
  8. Amazing, Great entries from all those who do carve.... lots of skill and talent here !!! I don't carve them, but I eat them ... pumpkin scones, muffins, sauces, pumpkin soup.... yum, yum and more yum! I stay away from sharp objects for my own safety...LOL
  9. As a band of squirrels had become quite a problem, the Presbyterian church called a meeting to decide what to do about their squirrel infestation. After much prayer and consideration, they concluded that the squirrels were predestined to be there, and they shouldn't interfere with God's divine will. At the Baptist church, the squirrels had taken an interest in the baptistery. The deacons met and decided to put a water-slide on the baptistery and let the squirrels drown themselves. The squirrels liked the slide and unfortunately, knew instinctively how to swim, so twice as many squirrels showed up the following week. The Lutheran church decided that they were not in a position to harm any of God's creatures. So, they humanely trapped their squirrels and set them free near the Baptist church. Two weeks later the squirrels were back when the Baptists took down the water-slide. The Episcopalians tried a much more unique path by setting out pans of whiskey around their church in an effort to kill the squirrels with alcohol. They sadly learned how much damage a band of drunk squirrels can do. But the Catholic church came up with a very creative strategy! They baptized all the squirrels and made them members of the church. Now they only see them at Christmas and Easter. Not much was heard from the Jewish synagogue. They caught the first squirrel and circumcised him. They haven't seen a squirrel since.
  10. It wasn't our destination...we were just driving through Europe and one day there it was... we were totally surprised that it still existed and basically just walked in peeked in a building or two and promptly left!
  11. Seems to me it certainly must be helpful to do regular banishing of all negative anything and everything...I call it purging, but same thing, telling it all to get out of and off and away from us..
  12. Leigh wrote exactly what I would write, so instead of rewriting it I will just quote. Thank you Leigh! However I will add that it is just energy, nature that is neutral. There are also entities, of numerous kinds, which adds to the complexity of Witchcraft. The need to know if what we are working with is just the various types of energy that is everything and everywhere. Or a spiritual (for lack of a better term) entity that isn't neutral.
