  • How familiar are you with witchcraft?
The more I read about it, the more I realize how little I know
  • Have you explored other paths?
After becoming an ex-Christian, I Dedicated a great deal of time and effort, for several years, researching/learning a great deal about several other religions, spiritual practices and beliefs. Tried a few for awhile but they just weren't what I needed/wanted. Some of them have some excellent teachings, that if everyone would actually do, the world would be a better place. But they just weren't for me. Most lacked when it came to changing anything, making anything happen, making any real and tangible difference.
  • Have you ever worked with Traditional Witchcraft?
    No.
  • What does Traditional Witchcraft mean to you?
Self knowledge. Self mastery. Self control. Wisdom. Common Sense. Being able to clearly define intentions, creatively visualize the desired outcome, access and direct power safely and correctly to achieve the outcome.
  • How long have you worked with witchcraft in general?
I had some experiences as a young person and then again in my 30's and 40's that I had no idea was witchcraft. I didn't know what witchcraft was and was conditioned with fear to not even think about it or try to find out anything about it. So I didn't. Until about 2 years ago. Tried Wicca but was turned off by the: Oh everything is nice and sweet and safe and positive and love and good and if you try to stand up for yourself or think a bad thought it will all come back to you and harm you three times worse....Yuk
  • What brought you to our site?
Most other sites I have visited appear to be mostly a commercial venture. They all wanted to sell me books, tapes, cd's, classes, readings, spells, energy infusions/initiations etc. They also try to mix to many things together; Reiki, Message, Essential Oils, Yoga, Wicca, Satanism, Meditation, Shamanism, Witchcraft, Natural Medicine, Kabbalah and more. As if it is all just the same thing and interchangable. It is annoying, distracting and wasted my time and energy just having to put up with it. I haven't seen this on this site.
  • What do you expect to get from this site, and what do you expect to contribute to this forum?
A better understanding of the dangers and how to avoid them. How to manifest what I need to change without accidentally harming myself or others. To learn from others how to harness power/energy and direct it where it needs to go. At this point I don't know if I have anything to contribute. I know/understand less then others here.
  • Do you belong to any other online witchcraft sites?
No. Unless you consider Rose Croix/Rosicrucian (the ancient one, not the Christianized version invented in the early 1700's) to be witchcraft.
  • What are your strongest points in witchcraft?
I can focus/concentrate deeply without rituals or much effort. I am getting OK at strong, realistic visualization. Still practicing.
  • What are your weakest points in witchcraft?
Understanding power/energy, how to access it and direct it to where needed. Understanding the different kinds of entities/powers and how to successfully protect myself.

  1. It wasn't our destination...we were just driving through Europe and one day there it was... we were totally surprised that it still existed and basically just walked in peeked in a building or two and promptly left!
  2. Seems to me it certainly must be helpful to do regular banishing of all negative anything and everything...I call it purging, but same thing, telling it all to get out of and off and away from us..
  3. Leigh wrote exactly what I would write, so instead of rewriting it I will just quote. Thank you Leigh! However I will add that it is just energy, nature that is neutral. There are also entities, of numerous kinds, which adds to the complexity of Witchcraft. The need to know if what we are working with is just the various types of energy that is everything and everywhere. Or a spiritual (for lack of a better term) entity that isn't neutral.
  4. And the Xian's would be very unhappy and start making statements about hell and the devil etc. So I think the Xian's did a pretty good job of driving that practice/belief into secrecy. I see lots of references to it on the Internet just recently...but I don't read any of it so don't know if maybe it is making a comeback. And if it is has been fussed with so much that it barely resembles the original. A very strong possibility. This happens to so many things these days.
  5. And crawled through irrigation ditches on my stomach, climbed trees and anything else that was vertical :) :) LOL
  6. Couldn't resist...this was posted on Facebook at same time you all started talking about ancestry...
  7. Can a black Flat Screen TV be used to scry ? If so, how? And what about lighting to make the Screen visible enough but not interfere with concentration or the scrying? I have only tried, what I thought was scrying, a long time ago by staring into the bathroom mirror with just the distant hallway light on. It was spooky weird and a bit frightening. So I stopped and didn't do it again. Then read an article in a Science/Medical publication that scientifically explained why people see things when mirror staring (eye, brain chemicals, nervous system stuff). But, the article didn't explain away using black mirrors...that is totally different because you aren't seeing yourself, or not very clearly, they said more research is needed to understand that one..the same eye, brain etc. science stuff doesn't apply when the surface doesn't reflect your own image back at you.
  8. Me Too !! exactly...start back at the beginning..... ..it is like fine wine.. 2006, 2007, 8 and 9 are very good years. But so is 2010, 2011..........
  9. @Onyx Good description "frenzied energy". I felt frenzied, frantic and hard to describe energy at Dachau Germany. Even people who were with me that have zero belief in anything spiritual, supernatural or otherworldly, couldn't deny that they also felt it very strong! Two other places that have a strong enough energy or presence of some kind to leave an impression on me, is Westminster Abbey and the Garden Tomb. Being a believer isn't necessary, my companions are atheists and they felt it also.
  10. @Nikki Have you or those you know who have traveled elsewhere, or anyone else who reads this post, been able to heal problems with your health/bodies while doing so? Or encountered anything or anyone during the journey that healed the body? And, if so, was it the Hard or Soft healings? Soft: anything that could be just the immune system dealing with it, an organ/gland etc. function improving or soething just coming into balance , or a wound/other problems doing its natural fixit thing it does. Hard: Dental, Vision /Eye problems, Male Pattern Balding, Injury damage, missing joint Cartilage etc. Things that we are told by medical professionals, once they are damaged/gone/malfunctioning etc. that is it ...they aren't commin back or returning to normal!
  11. There is a support group forum at www.ex-Christian.net. Excellent forum where thousands have gone, or are going through, ex-Christian rehab, detox, deprogramming with the support and help from others who are, or have already gone through it. It works. There is enough real and useful help there. And, just reading and finding that they are not weird or alone; others have experiences just like theirs, probably helps them more then anything! Fear is a very real and frequent problem for many folks there. If you go there and read, especially the Testimonies and Introduction threads, have your box of tissues handy. It is hard for most people to read about so much fear, despair, wasted lives, hurt and pain and not at least get teary eyed.. Especially those who had parents who think it is Ok to BEAT, not spank, the evil and devil out of their very young children. (the Southern Baptists do this). Edited to add this: Forgot to say there are also anger posts with swearing and cussing. But all I have seen, it is done reasonably, with mature decorum and self control/restraint! But, still Not a site for the fowl language sensitive! But, the good news is, because of that sight many are being helped and starting over with new life...and are much happier people. The success stories also require having a box of tissues close by. Edited to Add This: They have a section where they also learn about and post what "Other" spiritual practices they are pursuing or have tried after Xianity. Such as Witchcraft, Wiccan, Hinduism, Buddhism etc.
