About Onyx

  • Rank
    Senior Member

  • Gender
  • Location
    British Columbia, Canada
  • Interests
Talking with other Witches, Painting, Tarot and divination, wild crafting.
  • How familiar are you with witchcraft?
I am very familiar with witchcraft, I have been studying for 11 years, I was a High Priestess on Spells of Magic, but I left that site. I was gagged for posting too much. I am still on The Pagan Path and OneStopWitchShop. I did my year and a day at Magicka School.
  • Have you explored other paths?
I prefer Low Magic or Sympathetic Magic. Not into all the rules of Wicca and the ceremony of High Magick. I prefer a more natural approach. I am a Solitary Witch, so most of my communications are through the Forums.
  • Have you ever worked with Traditional Witchcraft?
I believe that Traditional Witches work with natural energies, without fancy objects and ceremonies to boost their power. I believe that I am working this way.
  • What does Traditional Witchcraft mean to you?
I believe it means working as a witch in a quiet and natural way, putting nature first. Going back to our ancestors for herbal advice, controlling the elements to suit our purposes and mastering our own destinies.
  • How long have you worked with witchcraft in general?
    11 years
  • What brought you to our site?
    Fate. And a peeked interest.
  • What do you expect to get from this site, and what do you expect to contribute to this forum?
If I can learn even one new piece of knowledge, I am satisfied.
  • Do you belong to any other online witchcraft sites?
    OneStopWitchShop and The Pagan Path.
  • What are your strongest points in witchcraft?
    Probably Candle Magic and Sigils
  • What are your weakest points in witchcraft?

  1. I'm always interested in Scottish Folklore, I have a quick look at your Site, it looks very interesting. I will return to it again. My Grandad lived in Broughy ferry and I have many fond memories of the area. I for one would be interested in the well restoration, I think it would be worth a post with photos of course. Good Luck with that project.
  2. Yes! Onyx the Devourer! I brushed him this morning, now he is all frisky and fiendish...
  3. Onyx reminding me that he would like a snack!
  4. Mouseface looks like my Onyx! So Handsome!
  5. Proof of reincarnation? One would hope anyway.
  6. Well, I for one like to be able to forage for my supplies, and go and pet my favorite trees who have contributed to my wand cuttings. Sometines the foraging is at Dollar Store or for something realy unusual, the really expensive Witchy store that I love called Gaia Rising
  7. I really like these, you are on a roll now, Sagefire!
  8. As usual Sagefire, fabulous! You are an inspiration to me.

    Rune Stones Anyone?

Thanks Sagefire, from you that is a compliment! I am enjoying them very much. Thanks for getting me interested.

    Rune Stones Anyone?

Thanks Mona! I am quite enjoying my Runes.
  11. I like to go to a park and be with trees, touch them, talk to them. It is too cold here yet to go barefoot, but in general I just try to ground myself in nature.
  12. Sorry! I did not post my Rune Set picture on this post, it is on "Runes Anybody? " If you can't find it I will post it again here for you. They turned out pretty good for a first time. I do love the picture rune on the front of the bag. it makes it very individual and identifiable. I bet they sell well at the shop.

    Rune Stones Anyone?

I I finally got a good photo to show you what can be done for about $7 worth of materials from the dollar store. True the paint may chip with use, but if I find out that I really like them, I can buy or make a different set.
