  • How familiar are you with witchcraft?
I agreed to meet a wicca group (staines) but decided after reading these forums that wasn't the path for me.

    I am, well, a novice.

So far the only aspects of vision I have experienced are many occurrences of de-ja-vu and freaking friends out by calling dice out before they've finished rolling. One or two may be coincidence but six in a row made me think.
  • Have you explored other paths?
My upbringing was CoE. I've spent time with people of many beliefs both here in the UK and in their native countries (I've travelled a lot for work).
I view religion as bickering children squabbling over control of people. After a load of thought (time off work) I'm now down to two things:
    1. there is no I. The majority of religions focus on entertaining the desires of the believer.
    2. organised religions is not about helping the individual become aware and grow, it's about control and money where the individual ideas are rejected.
Currently reading Inside the Neolithic Mind.
  • Have you ever worked with Traditional Witchcraft?
    No.
  • What does Traditional Witchcraft mean to you?
Following my own path. Exploring and evaluating ideas and paths.
  • How long have you worked with witchcraft in general?
Points further up - bit of a novice.
  • What brought you to our site?
After looking at wicca, thinking it didn't fit after researching it more, I became aware of what people described as 'traditional' so I started looking and ended up here.
  • What do you expect to get from this site, and what do you expect to contribute to this forum?
    Two things:
    a) Ideas - to think about and adopt those that fit my path.
    b) Companionship in a common journey.

Initially I'll probably lurk and start contributing through those two points. Once I feel more comfortable, well I'm not the quietest of people :D
  • Do you belong to any other online witchcraft sites?
    No.
  • What are your strongest points in witchcraft?
Given my past experiences probably seeing things.
  • What are your weakest points in witchcraft?
I think a lack of knowledge.
  • Additional Information.
(second name removed for travel reasons)
