  • How familiar are you with witchcraft?
I know the difference between traditional and wiccan, and I can give brief descriptions of specific paths of traditional witchcraft (ex: hoodoo is a type of folk magic). I know how to work my own basic magic, and I'm familiar with some of the new and popular individuals in trad. witchcraft (ex: Robin Artisson).
  • Have you explored other paths?
I believe in Fate and the Underworld. I grew up Baptist, though, and I have always found it to be horrible.
  • Have you ever worked with Traditional Witchcraft?
I have used oils, and I've done simple candle magic. I've been practicing some "kitchen witchery", and I've also been practicing meditation so that I can talk to spirits without flying creams/brews.
  • What does Traditional Witchcraft mean to you?
After many years of research, Traditional Witchcraft is the path I want to follow. It is the way for me to feel closer to the "otherness" that I've had a sense of since I was a child.
  • How long have you worked with witchcraft in general?
    It's been about two years.
  • What brought you to our site?
Google. I was led to Robin Artisson by a family member, but I wanted to find more about Traditional Witchcraft than what he had to offer. This was the first site on the list.
  • What do you expect to get from this site, and what do you expect to contribute to this forum?
I just want continue to grow on my path, and I know that being part of a community with many different perspectives and experiences can help me discover things I won't be able to on my own. I honestly am not sure what I will contribute. I am pretty good at looking outside the box, so maybe I can give some new ideas.
  • Do you belong to any other online witchcraft sites?
I follow Robin Artisson on Facebook, and I like to read some of Sarah Anne Lawless's blogs, but I'm not a member of her site.
  • What are your strongest points in witchcraft?
I'm good at mixing oils and recipes and folk magic.
  • What are your weakest points in witchcraft?
    I really struggle with meditation.
  1. This is awesome! I'm getting married soon, and I want to do something like this with my fiance. I'm betting it will be quite the bonding experience lol.
  2. That's really good! I'm always jealous of those with artistic talent lol.
  3. They are really good! I take them to family things and everyone loves them. Plus, I'm a big fan of just eating the batter. There's no eggs so I don't have to worry about getting sick lol.
  4. 2 cups Flour (I use all-purpose white flour) 2 tsp Baking Powder 1 tsp Baking Soda 1 tsp Cinnamon 1/4 tsp salt 2 Bananas, peeled and mashed or blended 1/2 cup Applesauce (any kind, I only ever have the cinnamon applesauce on hand) 1/2 cup Honey 1/4 cup Olive Oil 1/4 cup Milk (your choice of milk. For vegan, use almond milk/soy milk/etc. I always just use regular whole milk) 2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract 1 cup Blueberries, frozen or fresh (I use frozen) Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix the dry ingredients together in one bowl. Mix the bananas, applesauce, honey, olive oil, milk, and vanilla in a separate bowl. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients and stir until you have a thick batter. Then mix in the blueberries. Fill a muffin pan with roughly 1/4 cup of the mixture for each muffin. Bake for 17-20 minutes or until the tops are golden brown. Note: I'm addicted to these things.
  5. Awolnation is amazing!! Hollow Moon and Sail are two of my favorites. Recently, I've been listening to the album Ghost Stories by Coldplay.
