Reading, learning and expanding my knowledge and abilities.
  • How familiar are you with witchcraft?
I would say that I am quite familiar with witchcraft. I have been learning and practicing since I was 15.
  • Have you explored other paths?
I was raised Protestant (Christian), and as a child was taken to the Pentecostal church with my grandmother, however, my family was not what you would call devout. At a very young age I took an interest in witchcraft. The community I grew up in had an active and open community of witches and it resonated with me. As a young teen I must confess I did get into Wicca, however I quickly found it was not for me, just another organized religion,( white and black, and good and evil, do this don't do that, and too many rules. ) I have also read and learned about other religions, namely Hindu and Buddhism.
  • Have you ever worked with Traditional Witchcraft?
This can encompass so many possibilities to me, I will attempt to put it the best way I can. I have crafted my own spells and working tools. If I can do it my self in the most natural way possible I will. I do not use much ritual in my workings. I use simple, often spontaneous and short effective spells. I use natures gifts and prefer that to mass produced or elaborate looking tools. I love working with plants and rocks, and natural healing.
  • What does Traditional Witchcraft mean to you?
Traditional witch can mean many things. To me it is and old path of knowledge, and a connection with the earth, the universe and other realms that is not reliant on any religion, rules or complicated rituals or requirements to join any coven.
  • How long have you worked with witchcraft in general?
For years, since I was around 15, (officially, though really it was earlier then that) I have practised witchcraft with the full intention of doing so and learning more.
  • What brought you to our site?
I was looking for a community where I could pass on my knowledge, and learn from others. I looked at some and found most to be Wicca based, or filled with seemingly very young, very ill informed or very unlearned people who just copy and paste generic information. Then I found this site, and was impressed with the forums, and with the fact that you do not just sign everyone up right away.
  • What do you expect to get from this site, and what do you expect to contribute to this forum?
I hope to contribute some of my knowledge and experience. I hope to meet like minded people, have people to share ideas and questions with, and expand my knowledge.
  • Do you belong to any other online witchcraft sites?
    Yes, White Trinity Witch.
  • What are your strongest points in witchcraft?
Spirit work, working with plants and stones.
  • What are your weakest points in witchcraft?
I always want to know more. I do not much enjoy elaborate ritual magick.

  1. Oh yes, he is way better to look at then Trump without a doubt.
  2. I think he did it to look older, so maybe people will stop calling him a child lol.
  3. Congratulations guys, enjoy!
  4. Hello, I am Canadian. Ottawa currently.
  5. Thank you, this is exactly it. It is definitely New Agey. Look into these ideas carefully before you decide to commit yourself to them. There is something quite sinister about it when you dig into the flesh of the matter. Just because it is 'of light' doesn't mean it is harmless.
  6. Onyx, I am glad my post inspired you, I enjoyed your version.

  8. This is actually a very good thread topic K. I wish I had something to contribute but I don't know a thing about it! Fascinating though and definitely warranting some research.
  9. I have primarily used the same deck for over 25 years. The first deck I ever had. Like Tana said, it feels like an old and reliable friend, and I kind of feel unfaithful whenever I use other tarot decks. I do have a few sets of oracle cards and the like. It is very straightforward and honest. No nonsense, no tip toeing around the issues, no beating around the bush. Tana, mine is also the Rider-Waite-Smith. I see no reason to mess with a good thing.
  10. Onyx, I get that you are trying to help, but could you kindly stop posting 'advice' that was clearly copy-pasted from other sources and acting like it was your idea. It is plagiarism because you do not ever give credit to the source. Furthermore, if you insist on borrowing from others hard work, what you do not want to be bothered putting any real effort into, at least get better sources. All this New Age and Wiccan influenced crap is making us look bad. This is a forum for Traditional Witchcraft, after all. Onyx's obvious uncredited source; https://www.lilysongbird.com/ANIMAL-MEANINGS.html DOVE represents a powerful time of prophecy and clear vision. You’re experiencing a spiritual renewal that’s the result of a period of intense self-examination and challenges. It’s important to nurture yourself with loving care. The soul of someone who’s just passed is making a smooth transition. Dove also represents peace and maternity. The song ofthis totem says to mourn what has passed but awaken to the promise of the future. It’s song is more distinct in the “Between times” (dawn and dusk). This helps to see the creation process active within your own life.
