  • How familiar are you with witchcraft?
I think I'm just about as familiar with witchcraft as a "normal" christian is familiar with God. I know its there, I know it works, I might even have an idea of how it works, but I'm not sure why.
  • Have you explored other paths?
I don't have any paths or beliefs that you might find somewhere. I am free. I'm not Wiccan, Asatru or anything. I believe in Nature, that there are two sides to everything, that one and one can be three, four, five. I refuse to be pushed into a category, but I think we can all learn from each other. There is no better or worse religion. Only those who start thinking and acting that way, make a belief bad.
  • Have you ever worked with Traditional Witchcraft?
Um. I think so. If you mean rituals with candles and things. I've done that, yeah. But I prefer to go out in the nature and work with the things I find there.
  • What does Traditional Witchcraft mean to you?
For me, traditional witchcraft is working with things that are there. Looking up at the stars and the moon, looking down and seeing what's there growing or crawling at my feet. Acting for the moment, without having to make sure, that I've got a candle in a certain color at home before doing something. Rather, if I've got a candle and feel like using it, then I will.
  • How long have you worked with witchcraft in general?
Hard question. I've always been a witch or pagan. Even as a small child. My parents weren't too happy about that and so I refused it. It never completely refused me. A few years ago, I found my way back and was also strong enough (or grown up enough?) to get back on the path that was meant for me. That's why its hard to answer this question. Consciencely, since a few years, unconsciencely probably ever since I've been on earth.
  • What brought you to our site?
    Google
  • What do you expect to get from this site, and what do you expect to contribute to this forum?
I am very learning eager. I miss talking and writing in my mother language (just translating or teaching isn't enough). I hope to find people who are open and like to share their views and knowledge and accept those of others.

I'm not yet sure if I can contribute anything. I'll give it a try. I work a lot with Tarot and Lenormand, if that helps any.
  • Do you belong to any other online witchcraft sites?
    - World of Divination (my own - German)
    - Signs of Witchcraft (German)
    - Fini's Welt
    - Hexengemeinde
  • What are your strongest points in witchcraft?
??? I'm not quite sure. I could write a whole lot. But I don't think I ought to, because the greatest strengths might also be the greatest weak points.
  • What are your weakest points in witchcraft?
    See above.
  1. That's very true and I probably will do that. (My kids are being raised in a pagan manner). Thanks. But I somehow have the feeling that there is a big piece that's missing, anyway and that's what's stopping me.
  2. I've heard a lot about a so-called "Ahnentopf" here in Germany. It's a crock or a pot in which things out of your past are put into. For instance, dirt from the place you grew up or meant something special to you, ancestral jewelry, pictures, etc. It's sort of like a shrine, but without any knick-knacks. The container might be ornamented as you like, though. Usually it's kept in a room that is in use, i.e. livingroom. It can also be used when you have a wish and want to ask your ancestors for help. Then you're supposed to put something symbolic in it. For instance, a coin, a heart, a picture with that item yearned for? I've always wanted to make something like that myself, but have a small problem ? I haven't the slightest idea who my ancestors are. Of course I could (and I do) ask those ancestors of the family who raised me, at least the ones that I got to know and to cherish. It doesn't feel right to make such a crock for them, as they aren't very witchy. I would really like to have contact with those of my birth family - maybe I inherited my talents and belief from them. Maybe one day, I'll find out. I just hope it's not too late.
