    Lincs
  • Interests
Tradcraft, treelore, herb crafts, reading, writing, understanding the old ways.
  • How familiar are you with witchcraft?
Did druidry, wicca, shamanism for 20 years, then in 2003/4 I trained in Traditional Witchcraft. Made my own tools back then including stang and cord.
  • Have you explored other paths?
Please see entry above where I have just mentioned then.
  • Have you ever worked with Traditional Witchcraft?
Yes. Contacting the old ones, marking the seasonal changes.
  • What does Traditional Witchcraft mean to you?
Means honouring the old ways, accepting both light and dark as witchcraft is not all love and light.
  • How long have you worked with witchcraft in general?
    Over a decade.
  • What brought you to our site?
I was on a site like this before but I couldn't sign in so I am re-registering.
  • What do you expect to get from this site, and what do you expect to contribute to this forum?
To connect with similar old crafters who are studying old craft. To read their posts and answer when I have something relevant to say.
  • Do you belong to any other online witchcraft sites?
I cancelled my yahoo account last week as I haven't signed in there for months, so not yet. I am thinking of exploring Facebook when I have time.
  • What are your strongest points in witchcraft?
To know the differance between the work of old craft and incomplete watered down forms of wicca. To regular study useful sources.
  • What are your weakest points in witchcraft?
That I am alone as most people practice pubcraft and blessed be me as they don't know the old ways.
Online contact is all I have until I meet those who know old craft-that is what is weak for me.

  1. I have recently read A Devil's Dozen by Gemma Gary. Best Trad Craft book I've read in a while. I have been at it since 2003 and as a solitary I need munch on a good book once in a while. I will be ordering more books from Gemma. By the way I am not affiliated with her in any way, just a satisfied reader. 🙂
  2. Hi, I have puzzled on the Celtic Tree Calendar for years and a forum like this will no doubt contain other people who have views on it. If you google: Celtic Tree Calendar + Mary Jones you will find what i consider a very good article concerning this subject, Mary Jones has made her mind up what she thinks about it. Two years have passed by and new members (or old members) might have a view on The Celtic Tree Calendar. A question: Regarding Old Craft, would you put The Celtic Tree Calendar in the recycle bin or do you view it as a valid source to work with? Thank you, Starfwalker
