  • How familiar are you with witchcraft?
I have felt the pull all my life, and I didn't figure out what it was until several years ago. At that point, like many others on this forum, I thought it was wicca until I kept reading about all the blessed crap, fivefold garbage, and harm none B.S. After a grueling 3 years, I found this site and was so fucking happy....you have no idea!!! THIS is what it's all about! I wish I would have known about this site sooner, but better late than never. This can be a lonely life and it's so good to see all you guys and gals walking the same path. And it's real refreshing to get away from Wicca once and for all. This is who I am.....a Traditional witch.
  • Have you explored other paths?
Raised Christian and it never sat well with me. Once I was on my own, I practiced nothing. 3 years ago, I found wicca dammit!! lol
  • Have you ever worked with Traditional Witchcraft?
Well, after hanging around on this site for awhile, not to mention another very good site, I realized that being a trad was what I was all along. I could never say all the blessed crap, and the other stuff I consider junk that come out of wiccans mouths. I am alone in my path and I like it. I am a pretty private person. I enjoy doing spells..but I prefer hexes. (another clue that wicca was not for me!!=) I revere nature, preferring to be amongst it whenever possible. I would say that I'm more of a kitchen witch, taking care of my family and home with my witchy ways.
  • What does Traditional Witchcraft mean to you?
Well, for me it's a way of life. I don't just practice it, I LIVE it. It's something that touches me right down to my soul. A feeling that can't be explained, yet it's the best feeling in the world! Being a trad witch has made me feel totally complete.
  • How long have you worked with witchcraft in general?
I've worked with it for about 4 years. So, I guess I'm still pretty new.
  • What brought you to our site?
Fate.....I don't know if I believe in accidents. I was surfing the web and there you were. It's very odd that I never ran into this site before.
  • What do you expect to get from this site, and what do you expect to contribute to this forum?
I expect to find friends of all kinds. People I can relate to. A place to go where, if I ever have a question, I can ask away. Also, its seems so laid back...so it's a place I feel I can go just to chill, bullshit with people, tell stories, etc. As far as myself, I have no problems helping someone out with questions, giving advice (only when asked), and just being an ear, so to speak, for someone.
  • Do you belong to any other online witchcraft sites?
    Nope never have.
  • What are your strongest points in witchcraft?
I'm hella good at visualization and I make a mean ass hex. =) I am not afraid of the unknown and have not yet had the shit scared out of me.lol Yet being the key word, I suppose. Another strong point, I think, is that I am proud to be who I am.
  • What are your weakest points in witchcraft?
Definitely my psychic abilities. I have been working hard in this area. I have come a ways, but it's a long road for me. Also, I am weak when it comes to controlling my emotions, especially for hexing. I'm learning to only hex for damned justifiable reasons...not because some asshole pissed in my wheaties!!! lol
  1. I have always felt connected to Ireland. I get fleeting visions of the ancient Celts who lived there and always end up with such a feeling of longing that I can hardly bear it. On the other hand, when I moved here to the desert southwest, I knew that this is where I belong. I know that in a past life I was a Native American and the culture is still so alive here that I finally feel at home. Besides all that, no matter where I go, I always feel the connection to nature. After reading everyone's posts on this subject and seeing how similar our beliefs are, I feel that is what connects us witches.....the pull of our ancestors, nature, and the longing for places we've never been to. What an awesome topic, Oak!!!!
  2. I only call on my ancestors and I always use a white candle. Usually, I will set their pictures out, light the candle in front of them and just talk to them. Its one of my favorite things to do..... especially if I'm having something major going on and need direction.
  3. And that is also a great tune!:D
  4. I love "growly" music,:D so I will definitely be downloading some of their tunes!
  5. Killswitch Engage? Rammestein? Hmmmmm....gonna have to check them out!
  6. These are great bands, LDG, and I totally agree with what you said. I especially love to listen to that music when I am driving to work. It prevents me from kicking some management ass!!!:mad:By the way, is that a weimaraner in your pic?
  7. Sweet!!!! More Cradle of filth fans!! I'm pretty stoked because I'm going to see them in concert next month...can't wait! :witchnana: Nyxiah, I listen to the bands you mentioned as well. And Nick....you're funny!!!:D
  8. Yeah, Type O Negative is great. I especially love the song Wolf Moon....it's awesome!
  9. Yeah, I've heard that song. Its awesome. I've always been a metal head at heart but I do like all kinds of music...from Lil Wayne all the way to Beethoven!!
  10. I just finished reading an old thread about "witchy" music. I saw that most of you that posted are really into the celtic, Loreena, Enya type music...which incidently, I love. My question is....do any of you enjoy dark, gothic type music? My absolute favorite is...ahem....Cradle of filth!!! My husband thinks I'm nuts, but thats cool with me! I also enjoy Leaves eyes and Tristania, to name a couple. Anyone out there with the same musical tastes?
  11. I rather like the pain myself (in a strange, weird kind of way) :D Very true, indeed!! The pain is almost addicting!!
  12. Wow!! You all sure have some awesome tats!! I have 8 of them myself and plan on getting more (they're addicting as hell)!
  13. My hubby gave me some shit at first, but now realizes that this isn't some "hocus pocus". As a matter of fact, he is now very respectful of my beliefs and is afraid that I'll hex his ass if he makes me mad!! Pretty funny.
