  • Gender
    Feline
  • Location
    Bay Area CA
  • Interests
Reading, drawing, and walking around barefoot.
  • How familiar are you with witchcraft?
I've always been a healer and in tune with nature, as I age my ancestors lead me along various journeys.
  • Have you explored other paths?
I was raised protestant which never felt natural to me. Having the guidance of ancestors and various witches in my lives I've explored more than I would have ever been able to on my own.
  • Have you ever worked with Traditional Witchcraft?
    Yes.
  • What does Traditional Witchcraft mean to you?
For me, it's about being true to myself and my ancestors. In my journey I first had to learn about the past of my ancestors, how they practiced, and mold it into my daily life. Traditional Witchcraft is not a glittery happy feeling fad, but a knowledge and understanding of how energy and intention works. It's not about doing spells naked in the moonlight hoping for love, but enhancing your mundane life.
  • How long have you worked with witchcraft in general?
I've sang to the elements since I was a young girl.
  • What brought you to our site?
Searching for "new witch forum" looking for guidance in some of the areas I was unsure of.
  • What do you expect to get from this site, and what do you expect to contribute to this forum?
    Knowledge and experience.
  • Do you belong to any other online witchcraft sites?
    No
  • What are your strongest points in witchcraft?
Healing comes very natural to me, however throughout the last few years of learning, spellcraft is a strong suit.
  • What are your weakest points in witchcraft?
I don't enjoy divination beyond reading tarot cards. Not because I'm not good at it or I don't understand it, but I don't enjoy it.
  1. If it's bad I always go barefoot and find some earth when possible. Chocolate also helps (the darker the better personally). If for some reason I'm still jittery I visualize my spirit growing roots from my feet and the roots finding the earth, intertwining deep in the soil and allowing me to breathe purely from the earth. I've only needed that a couple of times. Normally just wandering around (or sitting) barefoot under a tree will chill me out anytime.
  2. Apparently I'm likeable. The only thing I've noticed throughout my years is that if another witch is near - we both know instantly who the other one is. Sometimes that leads to wariness. Otherwise other people generally seem to gravitate towards me despite my attempts at a resting bitch face that apparently fail miserably.
  3. I have a velvet bag that houses three golden dollars charmed for connections, success, and new opportunities. If I'm looking for a job, I will fill the bag with herbs and anything that symbolizes what I'm looking for as well as write out on a small scrolled paper a few words. I carry this bag with me for 3-7 days depending on what my gut says and will pull out the scroll and reread my intention throughout the day (like if I park my car and am going to go grab a coffee - you never know who might also be getting a coffee so I'll say the spell then roll it back up and place it back in the bag). The bag is carried on my person as much as possible. At the end of the 3-7 days I burn the scroll and release the herbs. It's worked very well for me in the past...landing me my two biggest clients within a month of each other.
  4. Jen Titus- O Death https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7sRnZWSLP5w Well, what is this I can't see.. With ice cold hands taking hold of me? When God is gone and the Devil takes hold.. Who will have mercy on your soul?
  5. Personally I find it inspiring. I now intend on locking people in my laundry room and draining them of blood so that I can rouge my face to keep myself looking young. :ninja:
  6. Highly enjoyed episode one, but I've got to admit I am a huge Kathy Bates fan. Seeing her rouge her face with blood - oh my. That alone could end up being my favorite part of the whole season haha. Can't wait to see more.
  7. I can get with that. Honestly I was bored of the parents in season one and the idea of a big happy family. I just really enjoyed Tate's character. Kinda makes me feel like a creeper but it is what it is.
  8. I finally watched season one. Taking a bit of a breather before I jump into season two since they apparently aren't related. Makes me sad because I adored Tate - is that wrong? haha
  9. Pretty sure the necromancy comment is about bumping an old thread. A lot of forums use that term for it. I agree with WR that the binding itself was probably overkill. It sounds like you enjoy his company and companionship but you already mentioned that because of growing closer there is likely to be rumors and gossip. I'm a fan of burning things when I do spell work, but I don't think I'd burn a binding thread. Life changes and once he's bound to you for awhile you may wish to be able to untie some of the knots. Who knows, maybe you'll get your own real life adventure out of it ;)
  10. That truly is beautiful - and much better as a window charm than a mouse shawl. ;)
  11. It's either that or Medus's Under-Study - just waiting until I have enough posts to make one of them happen ;)
  12. Jevne, can you please change your title to "Hardcore Magical Elitist"?
  13. While probably not relevant, I thought I'd add in this little song from "I Shall Wear Midnight" by Terry Pratchett (obviously fiction, but I really liked this little bit of it). The hare runs into the fire. The hare runs into the fire. The fire, it takes her, she is not burned. The fire, it loves her, she is not burned. The hare runs into the fire. The fire, it loves her, she is free... As for the question, no I have not. I have saved baby bunnies from being devoured. Even though it was a happy ending (as far as I know at least), the sound of the rabbits screaming still haunts my dreams from time to time.
  14. I was just about to add this book in...and BAM there it is. It was used so I didn't spend much on it, but I kind of feel like I cheated myself out of a latte or something.
