Colours

Some Basic colour correspondencies, for use in candle magic for example:

Red - Passion, courage, strength, purpose, vitality, health, male sexuality, sex

Orange - Ambition, confidence, success in career or material concerns, money, creativity, well-being, strength (but gentler than Red)

Yellow - Intellectual or mental work, communications, study, exams.

Green - Prosperity, healing, fertility, nature, growth (light colours work quickly but less result, darker ones more slowly but stronger result)

Blue - Light blues - Peace and tranquillity

Darker Blues - Meditation and spiritual understanding

Purple - Travel, writing, learning, wisdom, spiritual growth and understanding, power, ambition. (paler shades are useful for aiding meditation)

White - A universal colour can be used for any other colour, Purification, protection, peace, spirituality, The Moon

Black - Banishing, releasing, to absorb negativity, grounding and centering, the waning and dark moon.
