nagini369@aol.com
This is an excellent book released on O Books. It gives a factual and practical guide to working with the magical energies of the seas and ocieans, seashores and tides, and what you can find out there. It gives the reader a good picture of just how the power of the sea works and ways in which we can use this energy to connect whether we live by the coast or inland. It is well worth a look. Aloe
We have a thread on this book http://www.tradition...__1#entry121386 You seem to be quite the Melusine Draco fan, haven't seen you post about much else. Is your practice based on her teaching? Just curious.
spinney
Thanks for posting your review. Martha. The other topic seemed to fizzle out really. Did any others get around to reading it? What did you think? I am really interested in sea witchery. Tthe dodgy Harry Potter-like pseudonym is highly off putting , when will authors get this?? Whiterose
Here is a thread you may be interested in Martha as you seem to have a "connection" to this author. http://www.traditionalwitch.net/forums/topic/5901-what-are-you-reading-atm/page__hl__reading__st__583 Then again, you may have already seen it as you seem to have come to the forum about 5 days after I posted my review of this book. Archabyss
When Ignotus Press were still around she had a book published by them called Sea Witch which I believe was a similar theme, has anyone else read that one and is this a rebranded version? Mountain Witch
I believe all her books have been republished by Moon Books (a subsidiary of O-Books) - at least the list is long enough. It's probably the same book with a slightly different title & cover.
ruby
I'm a bit curious about Melusine Draco, myself. I have just 2 of her books <not the seashore one though>. She wrote the forward for 13 Moons by Fiona Walker-Craven and that was kind of interesting to me. I like what I have read in Melusine's books so far & I like her writing style, so again, looking forward to receiving "Coven of the Scales". xerceas
I've been really interested in buying a few of Melusine Draco's books, so it's really great that I found this topic. xD From what I have read so far from her, I really seem to click with her writing style. Whiterose.I am a member of the Coven of the Scales and have been for some time now and yes was under her tutorship.Melusine Draco is now releasing all of her work on Moon books through John Hunt publishing. Some of her titles have been re published on Moon books along with some new ones.Anara Melusin Draco is a traditional witch who studied under the direct tutorship of Bob Clay-Egerton founder of the Covern of the Scales of wich Melusine is the principle.I do like Melusines style of writing. nagini369@aol.com
Melusine had used the name Draco well before J K Rowling did for Harry Potter. It actually came from the star constelation.
