Aloe
Since the topic of the "Jurrasic Park Era" in the 70's came up in another thread - thought I'd post this!

Grymdycche
That's from xkcd.com, isn't it? That's a favorite web comic of mine, though he sometimes tends to be extremely empirical and skeptical sometimes. Shoot, I feel old when I try to discuss TV shows I grew up with. The fact that some were still being shot in black and white says it all.
thevioletsunflower
I started reading this off to my husband not telling him what it was and his response was "stop trying to make me feel old." LOL
Gramayr
I call a radio a 'wireless' and used to watch Tiswas as a kid (uk thing).I was the remote control for our black and white telly and used to watch the littleWhite dot slowely disappear after turning it off (when programmesUsed to close down on all 3 channels, then 4).My other half queued for Star Wars (she's only 11 months older than me) and I remember the long hot summer of '76 very well.Am I old? I'm going grey and teenagers are just kids to me..On the plus side I can afford to insure a high performance car and enjoy it but it has to be comfy and have a big boot. The phrase 'I'm too old for this shit' from lethal weapon has me agreeing and a nice cup of tea is very welcome on cold day..I think I've painted a picture lol
