Be the flame,
he said in the fire rising,
find your way between the light,
to find me in the darkest of dark,
to climb to such heights,
Map the universe,
and with your will, connect the stars,
bring it to life and turn it on,
lead and iron, Saturn and Mars,
Balance yourself in judgment,
and walk that tightrope ribbon,
the light at dawn and dusk,
now disappear within it!
<and control your human lusts>
Turn the day and call it night,
but in the night the day must still stand,
find truth hidden between the words,
the knowledge is yours, if you can.

Very inspiring Anara. I'm reminded of a dream I had as of late, about crossing a suspended causeway, across a deep ravine. I'm still trying to decipher it, and my emotions viewing the causeway at the time. Thank you for sharing, it was brave to do so.

I like this Anara, thanks for sharing.
"The people who live in the Ozark country of Missouri and Arkansas were, until very recently, the most deliberately unprogressive people in the United States. Descended from pioneers who came West from the Southern Appalachians at the beginning of the nineteenth century, they made little contact with the outer world for more than a hundred years. They seem like foreigners to the average urban American, but nearly all of them come of British stock, and many families have lived in America since colonial days. Their material heirlooms are few, but like all isolated illiterates they have clung to the old songs and obsolete sayings and outworn customs of their ancestors." Ozark Magic and Folklore

Really like this , thanks for sharing..
In order to understand the living.. you have to commune with the dead..
You are a tiny little soul carrying around a corpse.-- Epictetus
All experience is an arch wherethrough gleams that untravelled world whose margin fades for ever and for ever when I move.

Thank you.
I had a dream about walking across a bridge over a deep ravine once. Some people were walking across, some were crawling across holding on for dear life, some got tired about half way through and would fall off into the ravine <which was filled with fire>. The goal was to get to the other side <as mundane and uninteresting as that sounds..lol>. I wasn't participating, but I was watching. I think I associated the bridge with "life" and the people, with walking their paths in life.
I like to think the "witches" were the ones walking across with confidence, without fear of the fires below, or the possibility of slipping. In my dream, when they walked, it was with determination- they took careful steps, and had intense focus on that other side. You could tell they believed in themselves. I associate these things with "witches" in my waking life, and so I think that was true.
Good luck determining what your dream meant to you! Dreams are interesting things, aren't they? I'm sure your dream has some good wisdom for you, once you settle on its meaning.

Very nice Anara, thanks for sharing!
I used to do a ravine meditation....I would imagine I was lying on my back on a narrow but looong suspended bridge over a ravine in the rain forest. I imagined the bridge held together with gold or silver rope. The boards of the bridge were so narrow, my arms and legs drooped off to the side. Then it would begin to rain and I would just lie there and drink in the rain and let myself feel safe and held by the bridge. *shrugs* I made that up before I ever did any proper craft work, but it always seemed to center me and make me feel safe, both vulnerable and powerful at the same time, if that makes sense.
Again, thanks for sharing!

THE untold want, by life and land ne’er granted,
Now, Voyager, sail thou forth, to seek and find.
