That being said, I'm wondering why you felt the need to share pictures of your boobies. This is not that kind of site, Dave.
Best Wishes,
Jevne

We do sometimes accept newbies, I believe in giving people a chance but we are not a teaching site and expect you to find stuff out by yourself.
Now read the stickys and the rest of the public forum and use the search button and find what you need.

Hey - I'm glad the pics went away although I have no problem with boobs, lol. I doubt cross-dressing or over-dressing or under-dressing will affect your craft. The actual workings of the craft are not based on current social fashions or tastes or acceptabilities. Some of the craft is much interpreted by the social and survival problems of the culture in which that craft was known, though. If you're worried about it look up some of the mythologies - Odhinn has references to cross-dresing in one of the Eddas and to take it even further there are many hermaphrodite god-mythologies. If you're going to be doing something outside dress warmly (in winter) or for hot weather in the summer - whatever the weather dictates. The clothes do not make the witch. Women wear pants all the time today - there was an era when that would have been considered cross-dressing to an extent (just to put things into perspective). Delve past what is currently culturally dictated and find your own personal truths.
Re the please help - with what? Do you have a specific spell or invocation or enchantment you are working on, in which case post it :-) If it is just help to learn witchcraft in general or to "know" who you really are as a witch, that we can't do - no one can. The craft is a lifestyle and an inner state of being and it doesn't happen *poof* overnight. If you are awakening to it it will happen over years and years. So it is either who you are or who you are not, but it continually grows from within and no one can explain to you what that is like... so read the forums (there's lots and lots of 'em to read) and post questions as they come up in relation to specific threads on the forum. Good luck!

Not sure if you are serious or not (Bristols is a rhyming slang term in the UK for Tits)
Loki was also prone to a spot of Cross Dressing.
Changing sex, especially temporarily, can be a powerful kind of altered state all its own, with an intense shift in perspective.
Enjoy your stay :-)

Hello Dave,
Sounds like to me, that your family line held a Healing Practitioner in it's line. Depending on the sources of this information, could be a Witch, or could not be. Not to worry, it was just someone trying to attach a " word " to your Grams. Words have no power unless believed in and activated, in my opinion. Being a crossdresser has nothing to do with the Art of manipulation of energy sources, again my opinion.
Based on what you know inside of you, and what you've experianced of this knowledge, you've activated something rather grand and unique to you. I can't offer " all the forms of witchcraft " as I don't know them, nor do they resonate with me personally in reference to my own Path.
Have a good look about the forum, and journal your experiances. We're pretty much a friendly bunch here, yet as our Moderator said, not a teaching place, but we can offer a nod of " yes, that's true for me too, I've experianced that also ", that validates to the Witch he/she is onto something enlightening to the individual. Stay true to yourself, true to your individual Path walk, and you will be just fine.
Again, Welcome to the Forum.
Regards,
Gypsy

I'm a bit confused, how would we have known this if you hadn't told us? In other words, why even bring it up?
And like others have said I doubt most of us (any of us?) will have a problem with that. I am wondering what exactly you want help with.

It sound like your terrified and worried of being a witch, Is there something that has happend to make you want to embrace witchcraft ? Did grandmother leave any materials behind that you could refer to ? What would you like to know about witchcraft ?
There are far to many forms of witchcraft to cover in a single post, Witchcraft comes form all over the world from the Americas to Australia. there are a few common themes in Witchcraft around the world. such as Compelling magic, poppets, knot spells, herb lore, scrying and divination, magic symbols, magic wands, The power of eyes and touch.............. And many more.
I wouldn't push the telekinesis if you have terrible headaches afterwords.

Traditional Witchcraft is an umbrella term that many 100s of groups of traditional witches (many via learning their family traditions) fall under. It is not something you learn over night, or by members posting all about in one set thread for it. No one can carve your path for you, you have to do it. Thus, even being here gives you the food to nourish your path. There is tons of information on specific and broad subjects pertaining to traditional witchcraft. I suggest you seek them out, type in keywords and see what comes up. I find when I do that I start out thinking I want to look up one thing and another thing of interest catches my eye. For a new timer, I imagine it could even be like a kid stuck in a candy factory.
With that said, some good starting tips I can give is 1. Stay away from books about witchcraft in the book stores. Most of the time you will waste your money because the authors are teaching wicca based witchcraft and tend to obscure this fact til you have spent your money. 2. Do stay in touch with other traditional witches, as well as reading and learning from them. At the same time, think about if things said are fitting for you, maybe keep a journal and note them, so you can go back and think things through more, and what you believe, discarding what you don't. 3. If you want to read books to get a gander of some Traditional craft and have a specific region in mind, I would look at non fictional books about the old practices, festivities, deities, and general culture of the people of said locations. If it's your family tradition past down by your grandmother that you are interested in then you really ought to be seeking her sources, seeking her people that knew her and can pass her folklore more down to you. Who knows, maybe some one has one of her old grimoires in their attic and will only give it to a seeker in the family? So probe this further. 4. Casting spells is another form of art, and there is various advice and insight everywhere that gives good advice on how to spell craft. Seek them out too.
Oh and welcome to the board and happy seeking.
