The Secret Language of Birthdays

I have this book in my library it was written by Gary Goldschneider and Joost Elffers it references just how special people are born on any day of the calender year. Many people have long suspected, as astrologers believe, that the day you were born affects your personality. While no one knows exactly how or why, birthdays do tend to be uncannily accurate predictors of psychological tendencies. I'll use my brother Michael, he's long passed away, so he won't mind me using him for an example. His birthday was August 17th.

 

August 17th : The day of Explosive Power

 

Those born on August 17 are powerful and explosive individuals. They have the high voltage of those born on the previous day, with whom they have much in common, but unlike the latter are very taken up with running the show. Their drive to rule has the underpinnings of a well-established earthiness which grounds their dynamic energies. Most August 17 people,men and women, are dominating authoritarians at heart, who do not brook any challenge to their right to rule whether acting as parents, teachers, military people or even friends. How does it work for some one born earlier than originally intended? I was 8 weeks premi so I was meant to be a May baby not a March baby but I would love to know what my birthday says about me - I tend to find that most of the positive Aries 'traits' don't really fit me at all. Seriously, reading it - not me. Negatives one....hmmm slightly more accurate.:grin_witch:

Sidenote: I have "The Element Encyclopedia of Birthdays" by Theresa Cheung and "What Your Birthday Reveals about You" by Phyllis Vega.

 

These two are not quite as thorough as yours <does not include numbers/planets/tarot/> but good ones...I found them to be pretty accurate in their descriptions of myself and of people I know.

I can't imagine if it ever when into BIG PRINT, how big it would be. One would need a wheel barrel just to tote the damn thing around.:rolleyes_witch:

LOL it's funny that you just wrote that because as I was reading the OP I was thinking..........damn, that's a LOT of information on just one day, this book must be HUGE!!

 

I never really "got" the whole astrology thing, but this book looks very interesting!!

I really enjoy this book. I had received a gift card to borders books years ago, and decided to spend it on this book. I find it to be a very good book to get a nice look at people's personalities. I usually pull it out when I meet someone new just to see what it says about their personality, and if I will ultimately get along with them or not.
