ChelleRose
I have decided that I need to detoxify my body in order to be where I want to be in many aspects of my life, and I am excited about it BUT I have no idea what to eat! I have only started this detox process, drinking some great natural detox tea, eating fresh fruit blah blah blah. But i need to know what to eat, I need a list so that I dont feel doomed for the rest of this process. I do have a juicer, and a food processor that I would like to learn how to use, and I was hoping that this new lifestyle change would require their use. :thanks:
Michele
I once read a detox thingie about only eating food that was "alive." Whereas it does limit one's choices it also makes them obvious, although I don't think it would be good for a long period of time... maybe like a week or so. Living food would be anything uncooked and unfrozen and still retaining "life force" i.e., all fresh fruits and vegis, juices, etc., all never having been cooked or frozen in any way. So I suppose all salads and fruit for about a week, raw nuts, etc. Don't know how well it works though as I never tried it. M

I have been trying to do this, I think that I will half-ass it and eat as much fresh fruits and veggies as possible but I cant give up my cooked food. Its easy for breakfast and lunch to have some fruit and salad but dinner is another story! lol

ChelleRose
My best advise on starting to exercise is to chose a few things that you dont mind, like sit ups, running, jumping jacks, whatever, and create a short/quick routine that you can do everyday. Start small and as you get use to it just add more. For example, jog around your block when you wake up, and then do some push-ups. Then start making the run longer, or adding more at home things. Hope this helps! start small! Wow. Un-canny...another thread that just pops up LOL I just thought this morning about it. I need to detox to and make a change.
