AnjelWolf
This book is propbably one of the very best herbal books I have ever had the chance to own. It is has actual picturees of the herbs and walks you throught the steps of making different things such as: Lozenges, capsules, ointments, balms, liniments, poultices, etc. It also talks about a wide variety of things such as gathering and drying the herbs, the chemistry of herbs, how herbs help clean and retore the human body, etc. For anyone who is interested in making herbal remedies, teas, etc. I (personally) feel that this is a must have. The author is David Hoffman.
Guest WickedStitch
Thanks for posting this! I will be on the lookout for it. While I do have The Herbal Home Remedy book which is good for the lozenges, poultices, and salves you mentioned; it does not have live color photos. While I am on the subject of herbal remedies, one of my most favorite books is by my dear friend and author Nerys Purchon of Australia...Nerys Purchon's Handbook of Natural Healing. This woman is amazing, the life she has led to this point and continues to live... not to mention her knowledge of herbs and remedies.
