RavenFlyer
So I just received three books. Roebuck in the thicket (which I have read about half of at this point and really like it) Ecstasies: deciphering the witches sabbath (which I have dipped into and can tell it's got a lot of great information but will be kind of chorey reading) Tubelo's Green Fire (which I am really excited about)
Michele
Oh - I totally LOVED all three of those! Escatsies was written by a professor and it reads like a textbook and does take several + go-throughs (at least it did for me, lol)!! M
Guest Elfyd
Roebuck in the Thicket, yes a fine read.Esctasies, did not read this, was given a cautionary note regarding the source material and the general thrust of the author.Tubelo's Green Fire by Shani Oats I am informed by those with better insight that this is well worth pursuing, as I must. Hope they suit your palate. FFFFElf

As I have just thumbed through the book I see there are a ton of different sources cited. As far as his trust I do not know anything abut him personally. It's a book about tracing sabbatical imagery within the craft over several geographic locations and suggesting that the root of the craft has shamanic-like origins (journying) with relation to the sabbat... I have no personal view on this, just the warning. I am not qualified to comment on the worth of the book personally.FFFFElf
