I have been curious about the Spell Caster's Tarot :) I have the Morgan Greer in a tin, I'm so impressed with it, that I'm planning on getting the standard size, just so I can enjoy the yummy imagery up close.

The Spell Caster's Tarot and The Wild Unknown Tarot are both favorites. I work with them for different purposes and if I had to pick, I'd choose the Spell Caster's.

Call me boring... but the Rider-Waite deck remains my favorite after trying many decks.

I second this one.

I don't think it's boring, FlyingPeregrine. I think that often the simplest, most traditional things hold a lot of power. I am considering the purchase of a Rider Waite deck, too. I used to handle it a lot during my childhood as it was my father's favorite, but since I didn't have a good relationship with him, I stayed away from the deck. I'm slowly reclaiming the magickal objects, plants, etc. he used, so now I'm feeling like I might be ready to work with it, at last. What do you love so much about it, if I may ask?

I have used different Tarot and other cards. I guess I must be boring because the one I still like best has got to be my Rider-Waite. What can I say, it was my first deck and I have a good connection with it. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Quoting myself lol. Yep, still my favorite. You are not alone in that.

"Tarot of the Bastard" by Seven.

It is more or less Rider Waite with some other images here and there.  But it is stylized to look very old.  It is too expensive, but I love it.

Oh cool, I figured everyone would be like "the what?"  Yep, I lusted over that bad boy for like a year and a half.  During which time I bought several other decks, that I like but weren't quite what I wanted to work with.  Then I thought, "shit, just buy the damn thing."    The truth is I collected decks for a long time before I made much attempt to actually use them.  I really enjoy the art work and archetypal images.  Love the images for Lenormand too.

I found this in Philly a few months ago, I'm going to bet not too many people are familiar and put a link here.  I have yet to work with this one- but I like it quite a bit too.  http://shop.wanderer...er-s-tarot-deck

I love the Mystic Dreamer deck and we work well together. I am looking at getting The Under Tale deck as a gift for my son.

I really want to try that one :) How hard is it to learn? Do you have the two books, or did you learn well enough without them?

You'll probably think me very old fashioned, but I have been using my Rider Waite park for about 40 odd years! It looks very well used! And to be honest I don't possess any other Tarot cards. I do have several Oracle card decks though.

I have just got a new Tarot deck, Dreams of Gaia Tarot. by Ravynne Phelan, the art and imagery is the most beautiful i have ever seen, this deck is described as a new way of looking at the Tarot, so far the cards have been spot on, this is unlike any Tarot i have seen before, more like a cross between Tarot and Oracle cards i would say.

They do look very nice! Might have to get those:)

Edit as I forgot to add: I am using the wisdom of the oracle cards for divination atm. I love those cards, they have been very accurate.
