Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Magickal Herbs

This is basically an excellent book for those who work with herbs. Myself I find it useful for when I create my incense or do a poppet/spell I tend to use different herbs for different magickal reasons. The one thing I am pretty big on is working with the different forms of energy and with herbs I find that they display a multi energy level. :)

Quite true! ... However, his 'encycloperidas' seem to be pretty dead on with the info.

I do only wish that he had in color live photos of the plants, rather than the sketches in B&W.

I know this thread is old, but question.....

Would you consider this book the best one for:

Herbs, meaning and use in spells and the everyday life :witch:

I have this book and love it. I use it in conjunction with a book on the medicinal uses of herbs. I grow herbs for both uses and try to grow ones that I would use the most. The dude may have been wiccan, but he knew his herbs!!!!!
