An issue has arisen with some members saying they are logging in, being redirected as nornal but then showing up as not logged in.

This may be due to a cookie issue (cookies are used to record your login and if the cookie isn't correct you won't actually be logged in)

The primary reason for this type of failed login is accessing the site from the wrong url i.e. http://traditionalwitch.net notice this url does not have the www at the front. It will show the site, show you the login and when you do it will still show the login boxes .. you aren't actually logged in as the cookie is wrong.

The correct url for your bookmarks should be http://www.traditionalwitch.net if you log in from this url (with the www) your login cookie will be correct and you should be logged in properly.

If you log in from the wrong url, simply close your browser and then clear cookies using whatever option is available in your browser. Then access the site with http://www.traditionalwitch.net and log in from there.

It may be possible that I can change the cookie set up to allow login from the url without the www, however if it's not done properly it will make the site inaccessible so it's not something I want to do until there is a major update to the software when I can close the site, update the software, change the cookie domain and test it prior to opening it again.

For those having login issues, please make sure you are logging in to the site url with the www at the front (and if you have bookmarked the site without the www .. re-bookmark it with the www)
