SadJamiee
I just finished Abarat by Clive Barker (the horror writer). its actually a young adult fiction but what caught my eye originally was the art work that he did himself. its a great adventure story and i think any aged person would really enjoy the colorful, magical world. if you like fantasy, alice in wonderland type books. its written really well and not dumbed down for kids either. i totally recomend it to anyone in need of escape. MaryElizabeth
Bumping this because this is one of my favorite series (i reread it once a year, usually during spring semester as doctors have begun to speculate that i have undiagnosed SAD which isn't a surprise [doctors didn't work out for me and it's not as bad as it is for other member of my family so i cope pretty okay] and I use it to help keep myself busy 24/7 which does help.) It's honestly my dream to one day own one of the paintings from the series. I'd love for the one of Candy and Malingo
