spinney Posted July 8, 2009 Share Posted July 8, 2009 (edited) Puffball, A brilliant book!Lust, love, Life, betrayel, jealousy and of course traditional witchcraft :D. with a good bit of black comedy thrown in and a couple of puffballs. A book by Fay Weldon, one of my favorite authors, written in 1980, I read it about 18 years ago for the first time and just keep coming back to it. The Potter series has been somewhat of a disappointment to date, but I can see how it is more pointed to the kids. Still, reading is something that many kids don't do, so I encourage them to read the books first so they know what the Author tried to put forward.
