Morgana
I was confused when I heard the word 'service' used with these agencies. Internal Revenue 'Service' U.S. Postal 'Service' Telephone 'Service' Cable TV 'Service' Civil 'Service' Public 'Service' Customer 'Service' This is not what I thought 'service' meant. But today, I overheard two farmers talking, and one of them said he had hired a bull to 'service' a few cows. BAM !!! It all came into focus. Now I understand what all those agencies are doing to us. rosielj
Ha ha! Makes total sense! Brought up on a farm, I have always thought of other things when I hear the word "serviced." Took me a while myself as a kid to work out what the heck my Dad meant when he was going on about cows being "serviced" though. Thought the huge bulls brought in for the job where there to look after, and wait upon the cows (Well, suppose they were in a way!) I soon worked it all out though!!!
