meg
Any opinions on this author. I was at the bookstore and had a browse through Gothic Grimoire. Not the typical wiccan style i usually see on the shelves. I noticed Konstantinos has written many books on different occult topics.

Nyxiah
he is interesting and i did like his bits about shadow work and how he is not very wiccan based, but i'd have to read it again - i'm a bit fuzzy on the details.

I was given about 20 books by a friend and most I have not even looked at.But first impressions are, not my style.
Ancestral Celt
Actually read one of his books in a book store. :evillaugh: The other I merely scanned. Definitely not my line, but certainly suited to any goth types who want to be witches and think its all about being dark and mysterious. ;)
meg
cool, might look into his books further. they just seemed to have a decent base to them. I'm not even close to being goth though but theres something appealing there. My sister has one of his books so i'll go there first.
Leigh
I have his Nocturnal Witchcraft and found it interesting, but it seemed to be more wow-factor parlor tricks than actual magic. Think Derren Brown's mentalist show -- Konstantinos explains how to do that, only he presents it as supernatural. It is an interesting read if you are curious about such things and can see through the hype. I don't plan to invest in his other titles, personally. LDG
I have two of his books. He is not wiccan based in my opinion, he works with dark magic or night magic as he puts it. I like to keep them around for ideas, it does seem a bit parlor ish but i do like to have books off the beatin path, i have not seen many books that have dark magic in them in the metaphysical section, then again most of the section tends to stink anyway in my area. Grymdycche
Can't say I'm a fan, he's supposedly a bit over dramatic and goth, as I've read some reviews of his books that weren't that kind, but I haven't read them for myself (nor do I plan to), so to each their own. I tried to find a link to a review or two, but of course now they escape me.
scorpiowitch
I read a book of his about dark paganism I think it was actually called that I don't remeber and it was all about aesthetics. Black this, black that. I like the fact he writes about the occult as this is of a great interest but in regards to writing about witchcraft? Not my cup of tea I am afraid
Enlightenment
Isn't his stuff just Wiccan with his own style and twist mixed in? Well that's what I heard from two different sources anyway.
LDG
Really theres not too much fluff related in his books. And he may be using goth as awe factor, but i dont use it that way considering im goth. He generally is writing his style from a darker standpoint, but arent most books wiccan with a twist these days, speaking the ones in book stores. I think if you want to get a sense of his style just go to the store and flip through his book, make the decision for yourself before deciding whether or not to dismiss a book, i have a few others may find not to their liking but it doesnt influence my library, nor should it yours right?
