The first one I read (given to me by a cousin) was Teen Witch by good ol' $ilver.

The last one I read/purchased was Gemma Gary's Traditional Witchcraft: A Cornish Book of Ways

I "think" my first book was Diary of a Witch and Complete Art of Witchcraft both by Sybil Leek. I think I got them from some used bookstore.
The latest is still on its way. Its called A Witch's Runes: How to Make and Use Your Own Magick Stones by Susan Sheppard.

Latest book: Gemma Gary's "Traditional Witchcraft, A Cornish Book of Ways".

The first Wicca book that I ever got, and I'm so ashamed to say this, was To Stir a Magick Cauldron by Silver Ravenwolf. It's official, I'm mortified. The last book that I got on Wicca, and once again embarrassed that I bought it, was Witch School. One has been lost and the other is at the city dump. I'm now into books like Traditional Witchcraft: A Cornish Book of Ways and The Call of the Horned Piper. I'm also getting some books on Green Witchcraft and staying as far away from Wicca books as I can get.

Note: The one in the city dump is the Witch School.

First book: I think I bought all of the Ann Moura Green Witchcraft books at once. I still like her, she's like an old friend.

Latest books: Roebuck in the Thicket, Witchcraft: A Tradition Renewed, and Treading the Mill. I treated myself to a little Amazon shopping spree this week! Can't wait for those to get here!!

I really want the Judika Illes encyclopedias, too.

First book: Cunninghan's herb book. Last book: The Book of Azazel, Grimoire of the Damned by EA Koetting.
"The people who live in the Ozark country of Missouri and Arkansas were, until very recently, the most deliberately unprogressive people in the United States. Descended from pioneers who came West from the Southern Appalachians at the beginning of the nineteenth century, they made little contact with the outer world for more than a hundred years. They seem like foreigners to the average urban American, but nearly all of them come of British stock, and many families have lived in America since colonial days. Their material heirlooms are few, but like all isolated illiterates they have clung to the old songs and obsolete sayings and outworn customs of their ancestors." Ozark Magic and Folklore

Ooh. EA Koetting! He freaks me out (not in an entirely bad way either Posted Image). Let me know how the new book is.

He does have a bunch of videos on the web. I love his voice.

This is a fun thread. :) I so love books and I love the anticipation waiting for one to arrive in the mail, :witch_bounce: or going to a huge bookstore, or getting lost in one of those old used book places where the floors creak.

Okay, I *think* the first book I bought was actually two books; "Wicca for Beginners" by Thea Sabin and also the first Green Witchcraft book by Ann Moura.

The last book I bought is called "The Book of English Magic" by Philip Carr-Gomm and Richard Heygate.

First book was Natural Witchery by Ellen Dugan. Bought it at the Texas Renaissance Festival and shocked my Mormon friends I was with at the time. :) They were significantly silent about my purchase.

The last book I just purchased Herbs Medicinal, Magical, Marvelous by someone...can't remember her name. ;) My copy of Crone's Book of Charms and Spells is in my apartment office at this very moment...waiting....and I am impatient for tomorrow morning!

I really enjoy Ellen Dugans books, how they are organized and the illustrations. Just makes for a pleasing read.

I love books as well. My mother says that I'm a bookoholic, giggles.

I hear you! I grew up surrounded by books, and now my home is the same way for my kids. :)
