Wexler 199 Posted March 27, 2014 Counting Stars is one of my new favorite pop songs. Except there's a weird squeaky guitar sound in it, which for about two weeks I thought was my car breaking whenever I listened to the radio.

ruby 105 Posted April 13, 2014 And Gogol Bordello, "Sun Is On My Side" Ravenshaw, you have good taste in music. This is a good one. :)
ruby 105 Posted April 13, 2014 Lamia Vox (this would also be a good addition to the "dark music" thread) RF, that was different. I am not so knowledgeable on what's cool in the "dark music" genre, so that was interesting to watch-interesting pictures.
ruby 105 Posted April 13, 2014 (edited) a lil' tribute to Nick Drake on account of the upcoming "pink moon" ...or as some call it a "blood moon"...I think this month's full moon has some other names associated with it too, but I don't know them all...lol Edited April 13, 2014 by Anara

Wexler 199 Posted May 8, 2014 A movie I really enjoy is Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. It's a comedic take on Walk The Line. Anyway, all the music in the film is original and I think it's quite good. This is the titular song, Walk Hard. I like it.

Jukauz 10 Posted May 11, 2014 (edited) If you like opera. I'm always amazed at this kind of talent. Edited May 11, 2014 by Enodia
Jukauz 10 Posted May 11, 2014 (edited) Okay, a little more opera . . . I'm in a mood.I remember the first time I ever heard Pavarotti sing, I was gobsmacked! So wonderful . . . I cried.Nessun Dorma became his signature song. Here are two versions. For anyone interested notice how he is still 'reaching' for some notes in the 1980 version and in 1994 these same notes come so much easier. Just my opinion. Jukauz 10 Posted May 11, 2014 Pavarotti is gone but this little fellow's probably still going strong.
