I have a real mix on my NEW Purple Ipod! Mozart, Tody Keith, Fleetwood, Beethoven, Chopin, Celtic, Shania Twain, Sir Elton John. Whatever I had, I loaded. I like to listen to more meditation/soft/celtic music at work to keep me on an even keel. Besides, then I don't have to listen to the gossip!!! :witch_bounce:

Just last night I bought some new music on iTunes, and I have to say I'm very impressed. I've been listening to it all day today and I can't get enough of it. It is a Scandinavian Metal band called Amon Amarth, but instead of the usual satanic motif most Scandinavian Metal bands seem to carry, they sing about the old Norse gods and make reference to stories from the Eddas in their music. The lyrics on top of the their instrumental work makes for a very good combination if you enjoy heavy, ear shattering music, which I do enjoy from time to time. Their guitar work alone is enough to make me melt.

There's a german band I listen to at times. Qntal. They put old medieval songs to rock/electronic. They're pretty good.

I'll have to check out Amon Amarth, they sound interesting. :)

I bust the windows out your car, and though it didn't mend my broken heart, I'll probably always have these ugly scars, but right now I don't care about that part..

I bust the windows out your car - Jazmine Sullivan :)

She must be new, I just heard this song on the radio and loved it, so I looked it up on youtube.

In the post today I received "Ghost", an album by Radical Face. Now, I have been trying to get a hold of this album (cheaply) ever since I heard the song "Welcome Home" on a documentary over here in the UK.

Now, I've never seen a bad review of this album and that might account for the fact that I've never seen it for sale for anything less than full price. The fact it's an import (Ben lives in Florida, USA) doesn't help either. I refuse to buy albums off iTunes, as you are only buying the right to listen (i.e. something intellectual, not something tangible), so it seemed like I was never meant to hear this album. Well, my overtime came through last week and I treated myself by ordering the album, "Ghost".

What can I say: "A M A Z I N G !". Radical is a good adjective, as the percussion uses things like windchimes, hands clapping, etc and it's kind of folk/rock/indie music with some amazing poetry for lyrics.

Ah, look, go and

if you want to see what I'm trying to put into words.

This is my new favourite album, and I think I will be listening to it on continuious loop for a few days yet and will definitely make it to my favourite playlist.
