Bouillon d'Aromates

(Herb Broth)



This is a nice alternative to chicken stock for recipes that need a light breath of flavor. It is ready to use in 15 minutes.


20 sprigs fresh thyme

1 fresh sprig of sage (about 10 leaves) or 2 tsp crushed dried

2 bay leaves

4 cloves garlic, unpeeled

1/2 tsp sea salt

6 c. water

Place all in a large heavy saucepan over medium high heat. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Strain and use immediately or freeze for future use.
