Any Other Carnivores Here?

Looking for new ways to cook eggs and meat. I have been carnivore for the last 3 months now and looking for new recipes to try. I only eat 1 or 2 meals a day, beginning in the afternoons, no snacking at all and get maybe less than 10 gms of carbs, which may come from mayo, sugar free ketchup, or an occasional slice of tomatoe. It has become a way of life for me and am very satisfied with the simplicity of it all, simple grocery shopping, simple cooking.

Anyway, any suggestions on recipes would be greatly appreciated. And yes, I look on Pinterest.

You can't go wrong with a whole bird, baked, picking "clean," and then boiling the bones for broth, which produces a shockingly notable amount of mincemeat. You then separate every morsel of edible. .

The mileage out of one bird is incredible, incomparable. And, so nutritious.

I do that all the time, I make soup out of Chicken and Turkey carcasses all the time.  Left over Roast makes good Beef Barley Soup.  Nothing goes to waste in our kitchen.

I'm carnivore to! Glad to see I'm not the only one. I've been carnivore for 7 years now. 😊

Combined with witchcraft, it definitely takes you off the standard path in the process. Worked wonders for me however & my dog...

As for recipes, I'm afraid I'm clueless. I can't eat salicylates, so it's only eggs, meat & lactofree milk with occasional mushrooms for me.

Oh wow! What all do you eat? I began, after being paleo for about 6 months, last March. Have up sweet potatoes and all white stuff...ate only beef, chicken, pork, eggs, cheese, heavy whipping cream in coffee, and organic stevia.

Husband does it too, he is type 2 diabetic...he is leveling off insulin and has lost more weight than me...lol. We recently have added occational salad and keep carbs very low. We needed variety after 3 months.

Cooking and buying groceries much more simple. And I have relieved many health issues. I am 67 so losing weight is very slow for me.

Losing weight sucks.  I remember eating and drinking whatever I wanted with no ill effects save the occasional hangover.  Being a farm kid, eggs are a staple.  I use eggs in nearly everything.  One of my favorites is bell peppers halved and stuffed with scrambled eggs with any kind of ground meat mixed in, especially elk.  Bake the peppers seperately, prepare the meat/egg mix in a skillet, when the peppers are soft, fill them with the mixture, cover with a dry cheese like Parmesan, and stick em in the oven for a few more minutes.  Good hot or cold for Breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I'm diabetic and on a low carb diet (ooh, that word is awful - diet...). So I suppose I'm mostly carnivore because I eat lots of meat for the protein.

I also do power lifting, so lots of chicken and steak.

I only started last year, lost over two stone and came off my insulin. I've considered Keto also.

Good thread.

I am so close to being a vegetarian, but not quite.  Keto works if your want to lose weigh, my Son and Wife did it and lost about 20 pounds each, but when they stopped it all came back.
