:howl-moon:

I'm imagining the new sabbath, what do the witches dance around the fire there to?

What's on your witchcraft festival playlist? Neofolk, drum & base, EDM, psytrance, actual real life drumming?

How do you get your witchgroove on?

Great danceable tunes - old or new - with inspiring titles and messages welcome!

I quite like Omnia, this takes a while to get going.

I'm including this oldie but goodie, because it was my first honest to goddess gnosis moment.

To the immortal lines "Wake up, wake up, wake up!" True story  ;)

And this because I sing it (an old folk song) and I love the free spirit of the lyrics.

I love Jah Wobble, he's got some really interesting ideas and tunes. I'm also having fun finding these images.

A couple just came to me... I knew I wanted to call in Tori Amos.

Raspberry Swirl was the first song of hers that I ever heard, and spun me into years of complete obsession. I can sing her entire catalogue through 1999...less confidently and increasingly sparsely through 2011. I fell behind, I'm embarrassed to say. The point is, if someone requests first-half Tori at the Sabbat, and she's not there or wants to take a break, I've got it covered :)

And Datura, the one where she reads a list of various plants  :cauldron:

Great songs! Tori is an amazing talented queen.

I wish I could sing in this language, or do that throat singing. She's amazing.

Spellbound I am, I am
The wizard has enchanted me, enchanted me
Spellbound deep in my soul, in my soul
In my heart burns a sizzling fire, a sizzling fire

Spellbound I am, I am
The wizard has enchanted me, enchanted me
Spellbound in my heart's root, my heart's root
My eyes gaze to where the wizard stood

Part of my Neptune clear-out in my working for this Pisces Dark Moon, is to do with sloth and indolence! I need to move much more. So every time I feel lazy and indolent, I'm going to put on belly dance drumming! Love this stuff.

Aren't they great!? I love that last photo. They're all laughing and having a lot of fun. Never danced naked in a group. But it's tempting to give it a go! Haha

I'm not quite sure why this video is titled "Primal Uncensored", it's more like a nekkid Pan's People off of ToTP back in the day. Worth watching for the satyrs cute little dancing feet though :-D

This is a free translation made by me

When dreams are soaking out of real world
When changes the phase of the moon
I'm steping out of the shadow on the wall
I'm Cheerful and angry.
When eyes burns in green
And the mirrors exude poison,
I'll put ten streets in a row
Going after you!
Your soul is in my hands
Will freeze like a mouse in cat's paws
Among the fog would not recognize me.
And you for years and centuries
Forget the taste and the color and the smell of
All that is in the interweaving of the day!

RF. You sleep and see me in your dream,
For you, I am only a shadow on the wall,
How unreasonable for you and me
Do not believe in the power of roads!
When I died, you were so glad
You thought I will never come back
But I once crept into the gap between the lines,
And I hacked this world like a rusty lock:
I never wanted to do magic -
But otherwise could not!

When I will roll the wool in to stone
Then revenge will got thicken in my blood
Then you will get the bad news
From the wind and birds.
But you are the master of water and grass
You won't ever touch my head
And I will fly in the plumage as an owl,
Seeing no boundaries
Leaving you to remember
How you burned and hung me
Anem's child was dying laughing .
And I will come back to you to say:
"You are pretty sinful before me -
So redeem at least a small part! "

RF. You sleep and see me in your dream
For you, I am only a shadow on the wall
I hide in the air and in the moon
I fly like a thin leaf!
And I'm not sorry for you at all -
Steel boils in my blood
Passion and vice grind in my soul
And the pain dances in a flock of motley magpies
I never loved to resurrect -
But could not otherwise!

When we will stay alone
Do not believe in me as your salvation
In two voices we will sing
The funeral songs to you.
Recognize me by shining eyes -
'Cause you killed me more than once
But time brings us again togeather
In my divination!
Fallen leaves carnival -
The smile of a sword is so careless -
Child of Anem does not forgive insults!
You fell into my trap -
Your retribution is inevitable:
You know that means you will be killed!

RF.
You sleep and see me in a dream
For you, I am only a shadow on the wall
It’s time to step outside -
So go beyond the threshold!
Killing me many hundreds of times
You will not escape the deth now
After all, you’re tired of anger and froze from fear,
And I will teach you your last lesson:
I never loved to kill -
But can not do otherwise!

For super pagan-y "witchy" feeling: Omnia, S.J. Tucker, Eivor, Wardruna, Heilung, Arcana, Faun, Peter Gundry, Corvus Corax, Trobar de Morte, Daemonia Nymphae

For more rock, borderline Satanic feeling witchiness: Blood Ceremony, Jex Thoth, Rhea's Obsession, Blackwater Holylight, Brimstone Coven,Witch Mountain, Witchcraft, and many more

Woke up to this old U2 song playing in my head this morning (frequently do wake to songs or voices).

Bono wrote it about the Polish Solidarity Movement and the lifting of martial law on New Year's Day.

The beginning of a new era after a time of struggle. A song of hope and solidarity, unity and resistance. Love it.

I think my neighbours are going to be pissed off though  :cheerleader:

Under a blood red sky

A crowd has gathered in black and white

Arms entwined, the chosen few

The newspapers say it's true

It's true

And we can break through

Though torn in two

We can be one.

This should fit in nicely to the Sabbat playlist. Tried to learn to sing it once. True Story  :D

When the everywhere-eye
Asks you
Who is the emperor
Of the sky
Take the Archangel's Thunderbird
