Thank you EarthMother, It is always nice to get feedback, "Kootenay Lake" is a local scene and "The Gloaming" was from my brain. Trying to capture the betwixt and between moment between day and night.

Thanks UnMasked, I'm kind of obsessed with horseshoes, I have tons of them. Lucky for me, people find them for me, but I am always looking for them in barns and second hand shops.

I admit that my plan to paint one picture a day is not happening. However, here are the next batch.

Warning!!! There is some nudity and vulgarity. So if you are sensitive, Don't look! It is life happening...

Sorry, I'm blurry! The Dryad couple has had a movable arm (branch) added, it is held on with a star brad. He was rather well endowed. I thought I would give him a Fig Leaf, so to speak.

Now that it is February, I am going to stop with the painting a day. They are taking more than a day to complete, but I did manage to do around 22 for them, some better than others, but that is the way it goes.

Here are the final ones.

Thanks, ThreeCircleTarot, the idea for the Finger came from a fellow Witch who was complaining about friends asking for a free tarot reading just because they were a friend. So he would draw out "The Finger" card for them.

The finger card was my response. I think we even declared that 2019 was the year of the finger. Fingers for everyone!

I recently finished a long term project. It is a Bison painted on Quartzite Rock that is about 3 feet long by 2 feet high. He is a big guy and will live outside.

I found it harder to stop my tiny painting a day project than I thought, so I did continue, and I found it freeing that I had not made it mandatory, it let me off the hook.

So they say that 30 days makes a habit, it turns out to be true. Here are a few more of my offerings. The last photo is of my metal tag painted Evil Eye protection disks. Made for Yule.

Here is some end of year project stuff.post-4630-0-01017000-1577055135_thumb.jpg

I started the year with the wood nymphs so I am ending with a similar theme although the Nymphs have gained a little weight.

I love your art Onyx. :) I am getting back in touch with my art as well. I was very stressed for many years and it is really relaxing to get back into art. When I figure out how to ad pictures I'll post some of my rock paintings. I have been painting the same image on lots of tiny stones, the moon over a forested lake with a shooting star. I even made the stars and moon glow with luminous paint. I called them wishing stones before I knew wishing stones were a real thing lol.

I look forward to your next art update. :)

Glad to hear you like painting on rocks, I do that too, I use acrylic paint and varnish. Some of my rock paintings have been outside for 10 years and are still okay.

My husband used to work at a business that mined Quartzite slabs of rock. I was allowed to have all the rock I wanted as long as I could lift it. I did end up with a slab that weighed about 50 lbs. I painted a Bison on it. You might have seen the photo. Most of my painting on rock is of Wildlife. A fun and fairy easy subject to paint are prehistoric animals, running horses, Bulls, etc, have a look at pictures of cave paintings in Lascaux France. They will inspire you.

I really like these. The cards pop with the color. :) It makes me want to restart the work I was doing a few years ago on a tarot deck. I was at the time attempting to create a Vampirella themed deck. I designed the backs and frame of the cards and was working on Digitally editing the images from the comics into the different cards. I only have the original drawing I did of the back and borders now though due to a computer dying. :(

If I can find them I'll try to upload a pic. :)
