You have a very light hand with the brush which isn't easy to maintain with water colors; my hat's off to you.

A couple of new paintings, Acrylic and Gold leaf, 6 X 6 inches. "Eclipse of the Sun with Solar Flares" The photos don't do them justice, as they seem to change with the different light of the day.

Thanks Symbiot, I'm starting another one, it is going to be a Comet this time. I had to buy some more gold leaf, I ran out doing the last painting.

Once in a while we see the Northern Lights, they are fantastic. The entire sky seems to twist and turn, sometimes it is a bit unsettling and you feel like you are going to fall over.

This year, like last year, I like to torment myself with a task to improve myself. So this year I am attempting to paint an ATC sized painting a day.

That is a card measuring 2.5 ins by 3.5 ins. I have cut 15 of these cards out all ready, here are the first batch.

The first five were started last year.

I just went through this thread slowly and I really love your style. I haven't enjoyed seeing someone's work this much for ages!!

The two pieces that called to me were:

Kootenay Lake

The Gloaming
