Has anyone else seen Thale? What do you think? As someone who pretty much lives for folklore, I was pretty excited to find a movie with huldra.

Here is the trailer:

I started watching it the other day, it's on netflix right now.  I think it was really late and I didn't make it very far.  I'll finish watching it some time this weekend and see what's up with it

I gave it four stars on Netflix. As a horror movie, it is less lovely than Let the Right One In, but on the other hand, it has a similar weirdness level to Rare Exports. I can't say that I was frightened at any point particularly. Dig the mad science, though. I'll probably watch it again soon.

Let the Right One In is amazing. The book is great too. (Sorry for digressing. It's one of my favourite books/movies.)

Yeah, it's kind of slow and not really horror. I thought the interactions between her and the two men were pretty sweet though, especially at the end. Nice change of pace.
