I know no one has posted on this in a while, but I'm just wondering if anyone shares this opinion. I'm :verymad: (Read here many expletives). I LOVED season 1 and 2. Searched and found out they were renewed for season 3 and waited and waited and waited with eager anticipation. They finally released it a few days before Samhain. It was HORRIBLE. It was as if after season 2 they hired whoever makes movies like "Zombeavers" and "Human Centipede" to write season 3. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong, but it seemed pretty terrible. Sigh.

Yeah, they jumped that shark in last season's finale. Paranormal shows usually do that a couple of seasons in. I did give it a look for the possible camp value, and it lived down to my expectations. At least nobody turned out to be a fairy princess.

Good news! Season 3 is up on Netflix. I started a few days ago

Edit: didn't see the second page of the thread.

I'm excited but it does feel like they're taking it in an...unusual direction so far. I'm about 3 episodes deep right now.

Loved how atmospheric an hypnagogic season 1 was, and 2 the action and intrigue of 2.

Just started season 3, and so far it seems like its missing some of the ethereal dreaminess and that unsettling Twin Peaks undertone that S1 did so well.

Will report once I get in deeper than 3 episodes in.

(Thank you guys for the heads up on S3 being up!)

Just finished season 3...

I really really hope they don't think we want a season 4 after that. I almost wish I had only watched the first season now. I won't spoil it but...I almost feel like I wasted my time by watching it. I can't even pinpoint when they started going so far off track but I think it was the end episode of season 2.

I agree Caps. There was a WTF moment that started then and just never stopped.

Btw When they renewed for season 3, it was slated to be the last season.

I never made it to the Season 3..... Lost interest along the way and didn't bother to finish Season 2.
