Yanagi
I was looking for a good read on the topic of playing card divination, and I came across a book titled "54 Devils: The Art & Folklore of Fortune-telling with Playing Cards" by Cory Thomas Hutcheson. I searched the author and he helps run a blog called "New World Witchery". I haven't gotten a chance to read the blog, but I saw it mentioned in one of the other posts here (I think the topic was called "Traditional Witch Blogs"). Has anyone read this book? If so, what did you think of it?

If so, what did you think of it? I've got his book and I really like his approach. He combines the Hedgewitchery approach with his style and it's very interesting - worth the purchase if you're serious about playing card divination. The New World Witchery blog is a wonderful resource for American based magic and Corey really does his homework. The podcast he and his friend Lainie (sp?) do is very informative and well-done as well. Definitely worth a bookmark in my blog folder.
