anjeaunot
Our local radio station culled this gem from a compiled report of actual courtroom exchanges. Lawyer: Did you take the pulse before you conducted the autopsy? Doctor: No. Lawyer: Did you take the blood pressure before you conducted the autopsy? Doctor: No. Lawyer: Did you check to see if he was still breathing? Doctor: No. Lawyer: Then how can you be so positive he was dead? Doctor: His brain was in a jar on my desk. Lawyer: But… but, is it possible he was still alive? Doctor: Well… he could be alive and practising law.
