I posted about crossbones years ago. It is a cemetery on unconsecrated grounds where 'single women' or prostitutes and other 'unsavoury ladies ' were buried, I did read somewhere that witches were buried there also. Very interesting read about the folk rituals held there.

Fascinating. Looking at the pictures and the history really evoked some strong feelings in me as a woman. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the link Spinney. I always like history or stuff about cemeteries.

Few days ago I got two books from a friend in Australia and both were about cemeteries, etc.
