Warlock

I'm new here so please be patient. I did a search but was unable to find any topics relating to this. First of all I have a real problem with lies. I never tell them & never expect to be told any but I'm aware I'm told lies by persons who have no idea of consequences. This brings me to my point. I understand that there is a move by some male Witches to bring back the use of the word Warlock. From what I understand this means "oath breaker". I am a male Witch & would never use this term, how do others think of this

This is interesting. I never knew what the word Warlock actually meant. If I were a male, I wouldn't want to be called that either. Male Witch sounds better. I'm not really sure about the term Wizard. My father passed away last year. After his funeral, I learned that he considered himself a Warlock. I didn't know he was, but now that I know what the word means, I wonder if he was aware of it. Sometimes I wonder what type of male Witch or Warlock he was. But I firmly believe that things happen for a reason. Great post.

Thank you for your kind comment. It is very controversial & still being kicked around. I'm sure your Dad was a wonderful man regardless of what he called himself. As you say, he may not have understood the controversy around this. I am a Witch & that's it. I don't even like the breakdown of black & white. I am a good person & a good Witch, I do a lot to help as many as I can but cross me & there is consequences so does that make me grey? Ha ha. Of course not, it just makes me more aware.
