Saint Expedite-and fast luck oil recipe. Some Hoodoo Magic
Saint Expedite is an interesting enigma amongst the catholic saints in that is impossible to actually prove that Saint Expedite existed at all. His existence can only be found in the martyrologies. His appearance is that of a Roman Centurion bearing a cross in his right hand with the word Hodie engraved on it, and crushing a crow beneath his foot cawing out the word cras. Hodie translates to Today, and cras translates to tomorrow. So it is seen that St. Expedite is the patron saint of speedy resolutions. Usually called upon to help get money or a job quickly. Although he can be used to help get a quick resolution to other problems.
When working with the saint it is important to remember to give him a time limit to produce results. When setting up the altar for Saint Expedite it is important to remember his colors, candles, and water.
His color candles are traditionally Red and Yellow. However, if you are asking him for money you can use a green candle. as far as a traditional altar set up the candle, glass of water, saint image or statue should be arranged in a triangle.

There are other ways to set up an altar to Saint Expedite, but the one mentioned here is the simplest way to do so. Prior to lighting the candle it is common to anoint the candle with Fast Luck Oil.
Recipe for Fast Luck:
Oil of Cinnamon
Oil of Vanilla
Wintergreen
Alkanet chips to make the oil red.
As a folk saint there are traditional prayers, but it is more common to pray to the saint in your own words.
It is important to remember the items that you pay Saint Expedite with. His favorite flowers are colored Red (roses work well), and Pound Cake. When making your requests it is always important to remember to make mention of the form of payment you will be giving him. Also, HIGHLY (and I can't stress it enough) important if he comes through for you you must pay him for his work or else what he brought you can be taken away. If it's not taken away, he usually will not work with you again.
a sample prayer asking for his aid:
Saint Expedite I call you out of your martyrdom to aid me in __________. I pray that you will aid me now as in the past (Or aid me now as you have aided others in the past). It is very important that I receive __________ in __________number of days. Oh Saint Expedite out of your martyrdom aid me, and you will be handsomely paid with roses and pound cake.
It has only become known in the last 7 or so years (according to Catherine Yronwode) to turn the saint upside down in order to procure faster results. However, this is actually seen as very disrespectful to the spirit.
In my own workings with Saint Expedite he has worked most every time. It is important to remember that sometimes the spirits know better than you or I, and sometimes the results you want will not come to fruition. However, if you employ Saint Expedite and things do not work out the way you hoped you can always go through other measures.
