i will probably have many posts about my obsessions. they don't typically last long, well, until it is fulfilled.

my current one is "chickens".

I want a chicken coop. i know that it will be a BAT*TLE with the man to get one, but i know that i will win. i do most of the stuff around here anyway.

i have been drawing out plans to build one myself. one that the dogs and wildlife can't penetrate. one that will be easy for me to clean. one that the kids can go inside to play with the chickens.

i even have planned that for a couple of hours a day, when i am doing yard work, i will make sure the dogs can't get out and will let the chickens have at the compost pile, scratch around the yard, etc etc...it only seems right to have them.

i want a chicken coop.
